Description
Portuguese division of PolyGram.
Started in July 1974 as Phonogram Portuguesa S.A.R.L. (Portuguese division of Philips). In December 1978, it was renamed to PolyGram Discos SARL. Around 1986/1987 it was renamed to PolyGram Discos S.A., and again renamed in the late 1990s to PolyGram Portugal S.A.
In 1999, it changed name to Universal Music Portugal.
