The Dutch label started in 1995 as Hammerheart Records, then in 2003 became Karmageddon Media. It claimed bankruptcy in late 2006 & ultimately closed in 2007. Its releases were mainly distributed in Europe by Plastic Head Distribution.
The label was incorporated in the Netherlands as Hammerheart Holdings B.V..
