Independent label from London, UK, operating from 1978 to 1982. It offered recording and pressing facilities to any band that wanted to make a record. The company often used labels with the artist's name rather than the Ellie Jay logo on them.
By 1980, pressing was done by Lyntone Recordings Ltd. and the Ellie Jay catalog number often appeared in the runouts only.
The parent company, Ellie Jay (Productions) Ltd., was finally dissolved in 1984.
