Description
In 1970, Dr. Jürgen Moll and Philippe Sautot founded Delta Music located in Großkönigsdorf near Cologne (Köln). The label specialized only in classical recordings and low budget re-releases. In 1974, Dr. Winfried Ammel founded Capriccio, which quickly became famous for its high-class classical productions. In the mid-'80s, LaserLight Digital was added. The company moved from Königstein to Frechen in 1997.
In 2007, the company filed for bankruptcy. Reasons were credits that became due for the US affiliate. Since August 2008, the company operates under the name of Delta Music & Entertainment GmbH & Co. KG.
The general manager is Philippe Sautot.
