Originating from the United Kingdom with a branch based in the United States.
Founded by former Extreme Noise Terror bassist Lee Barrett. It later came to be owned by Edward Christie and Steven Beatty, until they sold the company's assets to Spinefarm Records (in turn owned by Universal Music Group) in early 2016.
Trivia
In 2001, Candlelight established U.S. operations, with former Nuclear Blast America president Paula Hogan heading up its Philadelphia-based U.S. structure.
