CDN Records founded in 1990 by Craig Newman in his bedroom where demos were traded around the world with other music fans & demo traders. Originally the label was named Civilian Death Network, but was forced to change it due to the non-stop problems received from the government & the US/Canada customs officials. With most of his packages/shipments being opened & smashed to bits, especially after 9/11/2001, operating under the name 'Civilian Death Network' was just not an option anymore, therefore CDN Records was born.
