By any chance does anybody have a link for the Sunn O))) song
Decay [The Symptoms of Kali Yuga] and the Burial Chamber Trio album.

I think it would be ok to post these links as they are only Vinyl only releases

Has the band authorized that these songs can be downloaded for free?

If not, then no, it's not okay to post these links, because this thread is about band sanctioned downloads only.

Be careful of this one folks. The link to their site in the blog to download the demo brought up a warning from my Anti-virus that it detected a Trojan.

More than likely it was due to one of the pop ups or some such business related to the site. Still, I figured it deserved a word of caution to those without adequate anti-virus.

My computer's already a virus-breeding farm as it is, I doubt one more will do much all.

In fact, I'm sure this is probably a programmed virus writing this message right now.

2nd Suicide, Swedish melodic death metal, except from Finland. Three demos are available here.

Surma, mid-paced black metal with a pretty clean production. The "III" demo is awesome, and "Alpha-Omega" is pretty good but not quite at the same level. Click!

Frozen plays Dissection-style black metal. "Evoking Shadows Past" is a two-song EP available for free at their website.

JT Bruce makes some pretty awesome instrumental proggressive rock/metal without wanking. There are two full-length albums, "The Dreamer's Paradox" and "Anomalous Materials", available at his website.

Tarot is the "other" (better?) band of Marco from Nightwish. They sort of have a live album for free download at their website, but it's not an official release. Still, it's 40 minutes of free metal. There's a note about the sound being bad, but it's pretty clear.

Enjoy.

YES! Pandemonium, one of my favorite progressive-ish death metal bands ("melodic death/doom" doesn't seem to fit them well) has fixed the borked link. Their first full-length album, Insomnia, is available to download from their myspace.

http://www.myspace.com/pandemoniummetal

Link is in the discography section. This is very good stuff if you like guitar harmonies, keyboards, and atmosphere in your death metal.
