There is a compilation (or split?) that I have called "Raging Death" and it was released on Godly records in 1987. It features work by Sadus, R.A.V.A.G.E. (later Atheist), Betrayal, Xecutioner (later Obituary) and Lethal Presence. I know there are strict policies about what albums can be submitted and the like (and I realise that an incorrect submission can be a bannable offense) - is this album acceptable? I did a search and to my knowledge this has not been discussed. I have provided some pictures of the LP.

My question was whether or not the album was acceptable to add to the archives. I searched the MESSAGE board to see if it had been discussed. Reading is your friend.

All kinds of releases listed on the site (if you're too lazy to check, they're full-length albums, live albums, singles, EPs, DVDs, VHS videos, demos, split albums) can be added. That means NO bootlegs nor "Various artists" kind of compilations. A split album cannot have more than 5 participating bands, or else it sort of falls under the "VA compilation" category... For splits, use the "Add a split album" button if possible, so that if you add it for one band, it's also added for the other band(s). If the band's tracklisting is shuffled though (ie track 1 is Band X, track 2 is Band Y, track 3 is Band X and so forth), you can add them twice, like a regular album.
If it has only five bands is legit I think

Yeah, I read the rules carefully, and was not sure (because of the number of bands) if this was considered a VA or a split. For instance Crushing the Holy Trinity is considered a split, even though it contains six bands.
