I'm trying to find metal who give an atmosphere like your in an old crypt, gothic Castle or in the catacombs of a dark souls game.
I know theres Tons of death metal calling themself cryptsomething or Burialsomething. But they don't deliver the atmosphere that I'm searching.

It doesn't matter if it's black or death metal. It should be with Keyboard because well...thats what adds to the haunted creepy atmosphere i guess.

I guess I'm looking for the perfect Mix of Grave Upheaval's new Album and Mysterii Dom Sathanas.

Admittedly not a 100% match, but you should immerse yourself in Mystifier's evil magnum opus, their 2nd album "Göetia". Let us know what you think of that unholy one.

Maybe Nastrond's Toteslaut or any classic Mortuary Drape?

Occultation - Silence in the Ancestral House

Reverb-drenched doom metal with style and atmosphere to spare. Hope you like it!

When I think of metal albums that have a gothic castle vibe, I think of:

Obsecration - The Inheritors of Pain
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtnpLBhR48Q

Septic Flesh - Mystic Places of Dawn
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4or4Onpjxug

Argentum - Ad Interitum Funebrarum
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p65Lrc6A38

Tiamat - The Astral Sleep
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPMlxAlSYrI

They're not entirely black or death metal albums though, but the atmosphere of those albums seem to be what you're looking for.

Thanks i will check those Albums out!!
@Mortuary Drape they have the Image but the music is too thrashy to be counted. Should me be more atmosperic i guess.

Inspired by your thread, I listened to my much admired copy of Mystifier again last night (like many nights before...). It is such a killer album, head and shoulders above a large part of what has been released after the glorious 90's decade. I really think it should be a spot-on, prime example of what you're looking for. Its atmosphere and aura is mind-blowing and it's one of those albums to keep until the last day. Simply cannot praise it enough, but I'll stop ranting for now.

Goetia is a really good Album but the keyboard on it is really sparse. But the few accents on it are good.
I found this band/album which is more what i'm looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0DNV2NBwBs

It's not so much away from Goetia in fact. A bit more on the doomish side.

Limbonic Art's "Moon in the Scorpio" fits the "dark gothic castle" vibe for sure.

Yes but it's a bit to "pretty" for me... The atmosphere spread by the Keyboard (or organ pipe) should really draw you in an ancient crypt. Like for example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7S1s6Ox8fg

Yeah the first one was too much Death metal for my taste. The other Songs are pretty good althought it could be more sinister gloomy atmosphere. I think the best of of them was the Argentum Track.

Since you mentioned crypt like atmosphere, that always makes me think of Evoken, to me there's nothing more crypt like than that

the song pafor nocturnus in particular
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMLALXEaiMA

but any Evoken song really

Tribulation's strange gateways beckon also has a good crypt vibe to it

Hey Damballah, got one more for you: Eminenz - The heretic
Sounds cryptal to me, and has plenty of keys to go along.

Oh i found another Prime example... The Band Necros Christos, when they use Keyboards. They don't do it very often sadly but when they do it's exactly what I'm looking for.

Most of what I think of with crypt like atmosphere would be death metal. The Finnish death metal style to be specific. They don't tend to use keyboards though.

Try Nortt for blackened funeral doom with some heavy use of keyboards.

Skepticism also has some songs that I think fit what you are looking for. This song is an excellent example.

Never connected Ravencult with that atmosphere. They are way to fast and offer a more pure satanic/thrashy atmosphere instead of crypt-like to me.

No mention of Tartaros - The Grand Psychotic Castle yet, or is that too obvious?

They're almost completely void of keys but have the best interludes ever I think. Teitanblood on Seven Chalices. I'm sure you've heard it. I'm not sure any album has ever felt more crypt-like to me.

you should try Vollgrav, a dark ambient/dungeon black metal from Italy. His lyrics often deal with dungeons, crypts and prisons. Also the compositions are really atmospheric.

Abysmal Grief is all about crypts, funerals and necromancy. Perfect Italian Doom with some (true dark) Gothic and Black influences. Using a lot of Keyboards in their songs the good way.
