Onward - Evermoving (OG copy through Century Media)

I just heard a slice of this for my first time today, and it was an insta-purchase. It's hard to know this early but I think we have a masterpiece on our hands. I toyed with ordering the LP version that Sentinel Steel put out but the re-issue artwork was forced and lame. The fuck kind of weird muscle-wizard is that? What is he even doing? It just looks so pandering. Y'ALL LIKE WIZARD RIGHT?? HERE'S A WIZZY BOI!!

Fun album but way too damn short!

That's been one of my favorite power/trad metal albums since I first heard it. Their second one is really good too, though with a more full and polished sound whereas I kind of prefer the slight rickety quality of the debut's -- and their cover of Loudness' "Clockwork Toy" is one of the best straight metal-to-metal covers I've ever heard.

For some weird reason the latest morbid angel album, which I didn’t particularly enjoy, has made me want to listen to some death metal , a genre that I had basically abandoned for some time , with the exception of releases from obituary/Vader/Amon amarth.
