I'm looking for good Black Metal with Keyboard. But not the "dramatic" or "symphonic" kind. More like Castlevania-Style. Like Nachthymnen/supreme immortal Art by Abigor. More like the Keyboard as an Instument for really eerie horror, graveyard, gothic-castle/church like atmosphere. But not "Ambient".

What I'm not looking for is Dimmu Borgir, Limbonic Art Orchestra stuff or really dramatic "beautiful" Keyboard stuff etc. Should be more eerie, horror and crypt atmosphere . Know anything?

One pretty obscure recommendation would be the EP "Sombre Chaotic Entrance in the Chasm of Existential Resignation" by ONTOS ON. They use a church organ throughout that recording.

TARTAROS from Norway might be of interest for you (e.g. their EP "The grand psychotic castle"), even if it somehow crosses over into symphonic realms occasionally as far as I remember.

Then we have the great, and greatly underappreciated FOREST SILENCE, whose "Philosophy of winter" is a hidden gem, and highly recommended from my side.

Old GRAVELAND (on "Celtic winter" and "In the glare of burning churches" for sure) contains great synth lines that you should enjoy every bit as much as I do.

Last, yet far from least, there is "Joined in darkness" by DEMONCY. To this day, I am unsure whether there are any keyboards at all on that spellbinding, evil masterpiece, or if that effect is the result of clever mixing. Can guitars even achieve such demonic, creepy tones resembling synths buried underneath those low-tuned riffs? I do not know.

Perhaps Gloomy Grim might appeal. Not really a serious band but they got a good horror theme going on with some interesting synthesizer layers.

Under the Spell of the Unlight might be their best album:

Heidenreich is precisely what you are looking for. Has some Abigor members and sounds similar to "Supreme Immortal Art" with the rich, rococo keyboards, but with a more horror and violence sound.

Gehenna - First Spell. Great MLP with some unique keyboard work.

Perhaps my most important recommendation for you: Beherit - Drawing down the moon. An absolute über-classic; genuinely creepy and mysterious in its unparalleled, ingenious use of keyboards.

Any new recommends? I think the first Satyricon Album fits also really well minus the Songs that have more folk Melodies.

Found another good one: Samael - Ceremony of Opposites. Could be more Keyboard on it, but it is really on point.

How about Kvist - For kunsten maa vi evig vike?

I still think Nokturnal Mortum - Goat Horns is one of the better keyboard-heavy albums ever done, but its definitely cheesy/folky as opposed to "medieval"

Then of course there is Evilfeast, which should be your first priority for this stuff.

Released late December last year is Vargrav's Netherstorm album. Pretty solid stuff, with plenty of variation throughout.

Shadowed Secrets Unmasked

From Israel is Tsorer, whose only full length Return To Sodom is full of haunting, cryptic keyboards which give off a kind of creepy, carnival-esque atmosphere.

Misanthrope

Old

On a much more brutal side of black metal is Australia's Darklord. Symphony Satanikka is brutally atmospheric monster with choir-like keys scattered throughout the down tuned madness. Maybe a little too extreme but it's pretty interesting.

Blood of Angels

Dark Fortress's Seance is a pretty damn good album, with some creepy, depressive (NOT DSBM!!) atmosphere. More like being haunted.

Ghastly Indoctrination

Requiem Grotesque

Nazxul from their Black Seed EP has some excellent use of keys, heightening atmosphere, and integral to song structure. A black metal hymn.

Vow of Vengeance

Maybe Reign of Erebus has something for you? Violent black metal with ominous keys lurking in the background.

...Angels Bought Thee Ashes

Maelstrom

Werewolf's The Temple of Fullmoon has gloomy keys in abundance. Similar to early Graveland. Kind of a Nosferatu/Dracula feel.

The Temple of Fullmoon

Return of Black Ravens

Temple Nightside sound as if they are playing from beneath the earth, with their brand of musty, cob-webbed esoteric rituals of sound.

Doctrine of Unearthly Balance

Exhumation; Miseries Upon Imprecation

I'd recommend https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/El ... laze/17646 especially 2 last albums.
It's mostly slow and close to being ambient at times, though, but it's good, and keyboards really do work.
