Yesterday I saw both bands and I really enjoyed the concert!

You were attending? A friend of mine tol me about this but I didn't want to go.
P.D: Did Sólstafir play songs from the new album?

Better, better, better!

Yes, they played at least 4 songs If I am not wrong, they sounded fenomenal!. It was a pretty energetic concert. And it was long, around 80-90 minutes.

"Born from the Serpent's Eye" Do these pass for vocals? Sounds like voice dubbing for the Nazgûl.

Taake - Sverdets vei

Just started the album, and I'm already enjoying it way more than Stridens hus. I'm hoping the rest is just as good.

HELLYEAH - Cold As A Stone

How is Vinnie Paul's Therapy Band going... still not as thoughtful as his previous two bands or as interesting as Chad Gray's previous band or Nothingface. Well it's fast food metal, fun for a party but boring in the long run, proceed with caution.

Acid Bath- Scream of the Buttefly

People are gonna chalk this up as another one of my ignorant opinions, but idgaf. A supposedly legendary doom album with super "kvlt" status should not have a vocalist that sounds like a cross between Billy Joe Armstrong when he sings clean and Chester Bennington when he growls.

I like Green Day by the way.

Days Of Yore - Sole Hero

Just discovered these guys a couple days ago, this is a great album on first impression. High-intensity power metal without any chugging/forced-heaviness, vocalist is a madman.

Blind Guardian - Ride into Obsession

The songs I've been sampling from At the Edge of Time are pretty cool. Seems like the production work isn't the best, but definitely suitable nonetheless. What an addictive chorus this track has!

Radiohead - Black Star

Sweeping mini-epic. Great dramatic swell of a chorus and ringing guitars.

Great album. They've always had a unique approach - nobody else really sounded like them with the dry, classic metal riff style and the unique vocal inflections.

Psychotic Waltz - Successor

The way this band wrote songs and riffs was genuine musical artistry. Always extremely original and yet kick-ass. Acrobatic, inventive guitars.

I have a lot of nostalgia with this album... it was the first Heavy Metal/Hard Rock album I bought on my own!

Oh man, tell me about it! Solstice is one of the best doom bands out there.

Capilla Ardiente - Bravery, Truth and the Endless Darkness

Excellent stuff right here. Epic doom as it should be done!

Oh man, it's been forever since I listened to them. I had their first four albums. That was always one of my favorites of theirs though; good song indeed.

Faith - Decades Of Despair

Very good Swedish epic doom metal with some folk flairs too.

I enjoy them too. They're solid and fun albums.

Dead Kennedys - California Uber Alles

Catchy, and yet lyrically relevant in today's political climate.

Exciter- "Under Attack".

Today has NOT been a good day, and some raw, catchy speed metal sounded like a good way to unwind.
