Great stuff dude.

i havnt heard a playing style like yours..thats awesome.

the unlife stuff is cool.good pace
sounds very blackenedeath.

you should send me your lyrics.

i was actually looking for black/death bands.

have you tried mixing both your bands styles.togethor

in a song have those long black metal shrieks..but go back to death metal vox?
that would be intense

I've already posted this video twice, but here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeQM3evZb5s

All my stuff is in my sig below my post http://nostrilcaverns.bandcamp.com. Mainly death/grind, but goes into other genres depending on my mood.

Links in my sig. Started as psychedelic tinged BM, but is now moving into more 'normal' atmospheric BM territory.

Thanks, glad you like it. I sometimes do higher shrieks but not too often. I just try to go for Old School sounding shit with some good atmosphere thrown in. Plus, my lyrics are more fantasy than gore.

I'm looking to start my own one man project. Though I'm hopelessly behind in two crucial aspects.

Drums and vocals.

With the vocals, I know I'm doing somethings wrong. I can't get through one line of verses without coughing my vitals out, or just hurting my throat in general.

Im not a drummer in the least. Was thinking about either paying for drum lessons or saving up for an ekit to teach myself. Till then, I have the hydrogen drum machine on my computer, and it's not even fun to mess around with (cause I don't know what I'm doing).

Guitar, bass, and keys I should be good on. Just those two.....any advice?

I haven't recorded anything in a shamefully long time, but you can hear some of my things here: https://soundcloud.com/awheio (Ignore the first two tracks, which are just things I recently uncovered from when I was like 14.)

I have a lot of work to do, especially when it comes to drum programming. (I doubt I'll be able to practice with a kit for a long time, and even then I doubt I'll have the time to get adequate with it...)

practice, lots of it. There are no shortcuts, if you aren't into it or dedicated to either than just get someone else to handle them. Otherwise no matter how great everything else is... the only thing anyone will remember or comment on is about how shitty the other two are.

drums and vocals .
i definately need to practice those two too.

drumming takes some time to get used to.and if you stop practicing you start to suck almost right away
just keep on practicing you will get it,dont worry

Here's my solo album

http://lordnecropsy.bandcamp.com/releases

51 min everything by me exept the bass on track 1 and a guest guitar solo on track 7 by evil toater

Im currently doing yet another solo album after this

My issue with solo bands is u get no colaberative writing

Im considering doing a collaberation next but im not sure if anyone is intrested

I mostly focus on making death metal/ tech death/ melo death/ or black death
hit me up if anyone here is intrested in starting a new collab project

I'm a bit confused by this thread. The opening line is "this is for those musicians who play all their instruments and record music. like PUTRID PILE." But doesn't Putrid Pile use a drum machine? And I know some others here use a drum machine/programmed drums too (nothing wrong with that, but it's not the same as playing the instrument, which is why I'm confused by the OP).

So yeah, going by the opening line in the OP, I'm also curious who plays all the instruments and records their music, without programming anything.

Well, you're still in according to the OP. I was just being a jerk about his wording. :)

Here is a try, there is still work to be done on this I think; maybe add a few leads and a better ending.

EDIT: That might be the wrong thread, I'll post it in the Feedback thread instead.

all my stuff: https://vorbkt.bandcamp.com drums, guitars, vocals, 'effects' etc all done by me. still no bass, because i just haven't tracked it for some reason. maybe in the future.

maybe considered sort of 'niche' black metal, i don't really have much drive to be 'noticed' or whatever.

Released an EP of Doom Metal with elements of DSBM, Alternative, Grunge and all that, for fans of Sentenced, Forgotten Tomb, Katatonia, Shining, Paradise Lost, Woods Of Desolation and so forth. All by me, though I hope future releases will include a full band.

Hey hey,

Check my signature if you're into black metal. Getting ready to release a full-length album soon so you may already preview some sounds on my website.

Well, all of my bands are my own stuff really, but Bulletface is the only one that doesn't employ other people. If I could find a vocalist to sing with it though that would be great.

Edit: InThyKingdom, that grind was awesome. Very in my vein of stuff. Hopefully the Psychological Regurgitation EP will sound like that :)

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... D=12951155

This is a software metal track from my electronic project, Pug Fuglies. Everything is 100% synthesized in most songs. Pug Fuglies actually explores a number of different genres (jazz, ambient, funk, hip-hop, new wave, avant garde, etc.), but there are quite a few metal songs in the mix as well. This particular selection is dedicated to one of my favorite video game franchises, "Twisted Metal."

Well, I don't play all my instruments, a computer does half of them. But I write, record and mix everything.
