thank for your comments ! I'm a very fan of SW music and in particular Finnish Black Metal : Warloghe, Horna, Sargeist, Baptism, Behexen...
Those are great bands indeed, in my opinion all greater than SW. I trust you also know Prevalent Resistance, their second album is fantastic!

Hmm, from my reasoned judgment, it seems to me that you enjoy Satanic Warmaster a fair bit.

Is it safe to assume the OP is a fan of Satanic Warmaster?

Hi guys, this thread is for us all to post photos, lists and links related to collections.
Be they CDs, tapes, vinyl, patches, badges, posters, concert tickets, autographs, bumper stickers - if it's a 'collection' it's welcome in here.
Also if you find a wicked collection online somewhere you can post that too but please credit who it belongs to.

Site-wide forum rules apply and this should mainly contain metal, but if you just happen to have a collection of something worth posting go for it.
A suggestion for posting images is to use spoiler tags if they are wider than say 800 pixels or use a thumbnail and link to the image.

Bring it on! :metal:

Sticky thread? ;)

it shouldn't need to be stickied, if it's popular enough it'll float near the top.

My Galneryus CD collection:

Image

Posted because they are one of my favorite bands and their stuff is rather pricey and not exactly easy to get. I'm missing stuff like "Rebel Flag", the "Voices from the Past" singles, and a few DVDs. I included related projects like Spinalcord, Syu, and Yukhinen. I'll have to update this once Vetelgyus is released.

What if we want to update or add to a post? Just post again, or edit the existing? I assume the first.

I'd suggest adding to the thread and not removing stuff, a new post is cool with me :nods:

Where's the collection dread? You break your camera trying to take enough photos? I'm most interested to dread, SLK, forestcorpse, androdion, and daemonlord's collections respectively. I'll post some pictures of my meager collection and highlights tomorrow probably.

Here's my 陰陽座 (Onmyo-Za) CD collection. My favorite band at the moment and the band that essentially got me into Japanese music. Not sure why I posted Galneryus first though. :P

I overcame my 'technical issues' and grabbed some photos, not too hi-res, it's just an overview of my CDs only.
I'll submit some photos of more specific sections I'm most pleased with, like what Perdition666 is doing

That's an insanely impressive collection dreadmeat! I will second wanting to see SLK's collection, but I'd also love to see slayerhatesusall's collection. How many copies of INC's second album do you have?

I'll be home on the weekend and can post my collection then, but it's only 800-1000 CDs. I'll show off my Alice Cooper collection too.

My collection may not be massive compared to some guys on here (dread, SLK, forestcorpse, petterot come immediately to mind), but I'm more than happy with it's progression. Slowly closing in on (only) 1200 items (tapes, vinyl, cds). Here you go, with a free cat shot.

Image

And my small but growing 7" collection

Image

My entire collection is also on Discogs, good way to keep a track of purchases. It's also in my sig.

Thanks! I made the Anthrax logo at the bottom of the cap. Joey Belladonna gave me a big thumbs up :p
I wear it very regularly. Any thought on how to preserve the signatures the best? Although it is permanent marker.

Sounds like a fun idea. Too bad my collection (somewhere around 1100 items) is so widespread in my apartment that I can't contain it in a single photo.
Maybe I'll just take some single-band shots :)

Gee, my other Photobucket images are available. Oh, the Internet and its mysteries! :D

That was a shitty photo I did for a report I once filled on the website. Something to do with two different versions of the compilation existing.

PS: Made it private now. Sorry, but I'm not ready to share that much.

Yep. My Anneke collection's pretty crazy too, but not taken a photo of it all.

Got tickets to see their two 25th anniversary shows. Can't wait!

Those Onmyo-Za DVDs are gorgeous! I want to check out the band based solely on those covers.

If you need any help navigating their discography, let me know. Its not as daunting as say, Ningen-Isu, but is still pretty confusing (esp. to westerners). Their 2005 album "Garyou Tensei" is as good of a starting place as any. As funny as it sounds, I got into Onmyo-Za by accident. In late 2012, I already listened to a few Japanese bands and was interested in discovering more... I was trying to remember the name of the band Crick was always pimping out (Ningen-Isu), so I kept checking any Japanese-named band that popped up in the updated band list on M-A's frontpage. I liked Onmyo-Za's band-photo and concept, and started with Kishi Bojin (their 2011 album) mainly because I liked the album cover - its still my favorite by them.

The bottom left and center DVDs are the limited editions. I was lucky to get a copy of those. They're very nice - both have extra photobooks and improved packaging.

Given that we're getting into girlie territory I might as well shock many around here and post pictures of one of my biggest assets. I lovingly call it "The Tarja Years".

Speaking of girlie territory, might as well go all the way. :P Here's a bunch of Japanese all-girl metal bands (I didn't bother with bands on the rock side of the fence). I'll post Aphasia once I get all their CDs. Not sure why I haven't bothered with Show-Ya yet.

I'm starting to feel like the only person in the forum that isn't obsessed with Japanese metal...
