I really like both of them. I owned The Continuum Hypothesis forever and have been meaning to pick these two up for a long time. Both are solid listens, but I think I may like Caught in the Unlight! a bit more.

Caught in the Unlight is solid, I like that album a lot. Got my copy for like $5 at an HPB a while back. I'm just waiting on ine pesky CD to come in from Germany and then I'll finally be able to post pictures of what almost $300 bought me these past two weeks (including something that may very well make zerometal shit himself, if he's even still around). :-D

  no not one CD, a bunch of then, probably about 20 I think. But one did run me almost $80 once shipping got factored in. The most I ever paid was $100 plus shipping for one CD. This will weigh in at #3 on my most expensive purchases list.

My Red Stream grab bag came in today!

I got some decent stuff and I got some garbage, which is to be expected with a grab bag. This makes the third time I've gotten a copy of one of these albums that I just can't seem to rid myself of. Here they are:

Image
Sol Evil - Sanctus Satanas
Urshurark - Pandemonium Theory
Tjolgtjar - Holnijimnjok
Winterblut - Grund: Gelenkkunst

Image
Bethlehem - A Sacrificial Offering To The Kingdom Of Heaven In A Cracked Dog's Ear
Blodfest - Leires Fald
Deiphago/Ritual Combat - Accept The Mark
Ritual Combat - Occultus Requiem

Image
Hidden - Spectral Magnitude (This is the third time I've owned this, unfortunately)
Hidden - Dead Land Energy

Also got these in the mail today:
Image
From Bandcamp:
Enthauptung - A Forming Void ep
And From eBay:
Whitechapel - Our Endless War
Hortus Animae - Waltzing Mephisto

Saor's Aura and Musk Ox's Woodfall I ordered yesterday on bandcamp. Very much looking forward to recieving both of those, the former being original, exciting atmospheric black metal, the latter some really beautiful modern classical, consisting of cello, classical guitar and violin.

Well, there's that clearly obvious Whitechapel, although I can't speak for any of the other ones since I haven't heard of those bands.

From the shop last week, I'm not that excited about most of it and about half of it goes straight to my trade list... oh dear how sad never mind, such is life eh!

Agathodaimon - Serpent's Embrace [GER, enhanced single CD version] [new to Discogs]
Altamont - Civil War Fantasy [US, 2 ladies fighting cover not the 'gallows' cover, this sounds so different to the Acid King split stuff I got recently]
Autopsy - The Tomb Within [UK, super jewel box, more hippy slaying DM from the masters, nice artwork too]
Catharsis / Newspeak - Live In The Land Of The Dead / The Flood And The Storm [BRA, hardcore/punk/grind]
Condemned? - Condemned 2 Death [US, double CD of hardcore/grind/punk]
Confrontation - Confrontation [GER, compilation of all their music on 1 CD, put out after the band ripped off the label?!]
Dismal Euphony - All Little Devils [GER, not even close to anything I like]
Faith No More - The Real Thing [AUS, original, one of my favourite albums from way back when]
Infernal Execrator / Imperial Tyrants split - MCBL Heathen Blood Cult [US, fairly generic black/death, needs another listen]
Killing Joke - Laugh? I Nearly Bought One! [EUR, decent compilation of KJ stuff]
Neurosis - The Eye Of Every Storm [EUR with slipcase, I like the artwork at least]
Old Man Gloom - Christmas / Christmas Eve Part I+II + 6 [JP, double CD which is evidently quite valuable, pretty decent post metal/doom core metal stuff, disc 2 especially]
Prophanity - Stronger Than Steel [UK, Dissection-y black/death]
Psycroptic - Ob(Servant) [AUS, limited edition Digipak with AAA Summer Slaughter laminated pass, not my thing] [new to Discogs]
Rev. Kriss Hades - The Wind Of Orion Pyramids Of War [AUS/NZ, 2006 reissue, not bad at least there are a couple of SAD EX tracks on here...]
The House Of Capricorn - The Rivers And The Rain [NZ, CD-r EP, competent NZ metal band, I got another album of theirs last week too, members of Ulcerate are in this band by the way]

Dieselboy - projectHUMAN [US, killer 2 CD mixed album, who says USA can't do good DnB, all Dieselboy stuff I have here is top notch]
Gotan Project - Lunático [RUS, licensed version woops, cool music though] [new to Discogs]
Klute - Breakbeat Science Exercise.003 [really good DnB mix by Klute]
Kruder & Dorfmeister - DJ-Kicks [GER, not bad, I was hoping it would be more DnB than it is though]

tapes

Deep Purple - Deep Purple In Rock [AUS] [new to Discogs]
Queen - A Kind Of Magic [AUS/NZ, evidently quite rare and valuable] [new to Discogs]
Roger Waters - Radio Kaos [AUS] [new to Discogs]
Soundgarden - Down On The Upside [AUS] [new to Discogs]
Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses [GER, original, black tape]

Ah, I glossed over the part about that being from eBay. Whoops. Well, to each his own!

I don't remember if I posted it but I bought a copy of a friend's band:

Acrucé Mortem: Enslaved in Servitude

I make fun of him since he's the bassist and they pretty much mixed the bass out and he knows it.

Today I got the Casket/Sewercide split 7-inch - pretty cool old-school-style thrashy death metal.

Ordering tonight:

Warlock - 'Burning the Witches' original LP
Cremation - 'Black Death Cult' LP

Only $22 with shipping.

Everything on CD.

13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere (2CD digibook version)
Iron Void - Iron Void (This album came out of nowhere as a pleasant surprise. "I Am War" is definitely one of my favorite tracks from this year!)
Killing Joke - Fire Dances (The 2008 reissue with lots of bonus tracks.)
Nest - Within a Decade (3CD digibook containing everything they recorded. Expensive, but well worth it!)
The River - Drawing Down the Sun
The Wizar'd - Pathways into Darkness
The Wizar'd - Ancient Tome of Arcane Knowledge (Well-done Pagan Altar worship. The only Wizar'd album I can wholeheartedly recommend.)

Regimental Records will be putting out a few new packs in the coming days. I've been emailing back and forth with someone from their company with a few questions and comments and etc.

So if anyone is interested, keep an eye on their ebay store.

Down - Diary Of A Mad Band: Europe In The Year Of VI [original US version, CD+DVD, not for me and in fact already on its way to the new owner so not in the photo]
Mastodon - Call Of The Mastodon [US, ripping, old Mastodon, the very best kind this is excellent]
Orange Goblin - A Eulogy For The Damned [US, not bad, needs more listens]
Primus - Green Naugahyde [US, ATO/Prawn Song Digipak version, this is really quite good]
Shrinebuilder - Shrinebuilder [US, slipcase version REV/CA matrix, not too sure I like this, maybe I need to play it louder] new to Discogs
The Melvins - Sugar Daddy Live [US, live album, good of old and new stuff]
The Melvins - The Bride Screamed Murder [US, these guys are hit and miss, this is a miss... especially the awful The Who cover]
Wormrot - Abuse [UK, 2010 reissue, fairly violent grindcore, needs more plays]

Bathory - Bathory
Carcass - Heartwork
Darkthrone - Soulside Journey
Exhumed - Gore Metal
Exmortus - In Hatred's Flame
Flotsam and Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace
Immolation - Dawn of Possession
Immolation - Close to a World Below
Immolation - Shadows in the Light

All used CDs too, so the prices didn't suck as opposed to how they'd cost if they were new copies.
