Hey, guys. A few years ago, I heard the Eternal Poison soundtrack (a fairly unknown PS2 game) and it had this song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2E5oXRWnPY

Since then I've been looking for music similar to this. I've always referred to this type of music as "lounge" but I quickly learned there is an electronica genre dubbed "lounge". I figured since most of you dabble in other genres, this would be a good place to ask. Anyways, I'd like to hear artists that have at least a full album that primarily sounds like this. Relaxing and jazzy, like something you'd hear at a classy, high-end bar.

Instrumental or female vocal exclusively are preferred. Feel free to post whatever comes to mind, it's much appreciated. Thanks, guys.

Yes, this is pretty much what I wanted. I'll keep looking for something with more prominent piano, but now I have a name for what I'm looking for, and the rec is so good. Thank you so much, iriki.

Any other recs are welcome, I'd love to get more of this or anything similar to this.

Instrumental hip-hop is what you want.

Here's some Nujabes/FON/Fat Jon, even though it's a anime soundtrack, try it!

You may also find other nice tracks in jazz rap and downtempo.

You're welcome, sir. :)

Take this song, there's a good piano theme around 5:00 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XixPjhGpik

@Yayattasa
I'm not sure about instrumental hip hop, but I do like trip hop and downtempo, so maybe there's something I like there. I'll check it out. Thanks!

@iriki
I finished listening to that song minutes before reading your post. That's a lot closer to what I wanted to hear, amazing stuff. Thanks again!

To be fair, that album was a wrong pick by me, it has too few jazzy tracks, try the other one (skip the first track, to 3:22)

@Yayattasa
Went through maybe 15-20 mins of the first and currently going through the second one. I find the second album much more appealing, it suits my request a lot better, and so far the songs have been really nice. There is still a lot I've yet to hear from both so let's see. Thanks!

Have you heard Breath Of Fire 3's OST?
Lots of lounge songs there.

Sorry for the delay, I'm currently (ahem) "Internet impaired" so I'm posting from college.

Well, joppek, that was... interesting... should make for quite a conversation topic, I'm sure. Pretty cool.

@Karlabos
I only played through the first two games, so I've yet to hear a song from here, but I will check it out, I remember the first two games having some cool songs. Any highlights?
