I recently saw a comment on this site, which stated that Chris was only 50 when he died in 2007.
I was a work colleague and friend of Chris many years ago, in the very early days when he was still dabbling in photography, and working for Bausch and Lomb. I remember he took me to see the band who evolved into Samson, at a pub in Hoxton, East London in 1977.

I would just like to point out that Chris wasn't born in 1957, he was born in 1947 and was 60 when he died (far too young). I know it's just a small thing, but important to get the facts right for my old friend - a funny, intriguing, French-fag smoking man who always encouraged me to live more dangerously than I was used to.
