Odd coincidence, that one popped into my head today, their track Opaque Sun was on a compilation I used to really like

Got these couple of days ago from Phil from Vassafor by way of the NWN! forums, went and met him up the road, yakked for a bit, cool guy!

CDs
Adversarial – Prophetic Plain of Abyssal Revelation [digipak, some EP stuff and 2 covers Incantation and Archgoat, mean]
Archgoat – The Light Devouring Darkness [on Blasphemous Underground]
Armagedda – Only True Believers [Agonia but with a Drakkar Productions logo on the rear cover] new to Discogs
GoatPenis - Inhumanization [jolly good war metal here, mine has the new labels logo taped over the old one?!]
Order From Chaos - Plateau of Invincibility [Shivadarshana, EP with some cover songs and live stuff]
Vassafor - Elegy of the Archeonaut [some unreleased stuff, covers and demos]

Tapes
Cruciamentum - Convocation of Crawling Chaos [red tape, I have the CD too]
Diocletian - War of All against All [with poster]
Monstrosity - Imperial Doom [GER, pretty rare in any format] new to Discogs
Ripping Corpse - Dreaming With the Dead [killer stuff!] new to Discogs

Didn't know VK was back in NZ though. Cool. Need me an Imperial Doom copy!

Doubt this was intentional, but having a CD containing "Dust" next to (what appears to be) a vacuum cleaner was pretty funny.

Yeah, I'd never heard of Candiru till I read the industrial metal recommendation thread a couple days ago. Somebody on Amazon had it for like 50 cents plus shipping so I just went for it.

Brute Chant - Killer Each of You

I saw this band posted a couple times by SLK, liked what I heard, and found a cheap copy on Ebay. I'm into this off-the-wall stuff.

I found it funny right away, because in Norwegian the word for vacuum cleaner is literally translated as "dust sucker"

Depeche Mode - Some Great Reward
Anthrax - Spreading the Disease, seemed like a total steal for only $3.
Isis - Mosquito Control, another cheap steal for $3.
Isis - Oceanic
Primordial - To the Nameless Dead, and another for $5.

This was a fruitful visit today and I could have gotten another 5 if I really wanted to (or had the money).

"Some Great Reward" rules! Great Industrial Pop.

"The exact time and place is irrelevant. The smell of liquor and tobacco is thick in the air. Chattering voices mix with loud music and clanking glasses, creating an indecipherable drone compared to a hive of bees. The jovial atmosphere is shattered by a sudden wave of flames when cigar ashes catch hold of a paper banner. The room is sent into a frenzy. One by one, brother stampedes brother. Friends trample friends. There is a race to the only exit...a set of revolving doors. Concerned only for personal welfare, the door jams with bodies. The people futilely claw and scrape at each other. Flesh burns from the in ense he t and f ngerprints ar en aved i to the pl xigla s walls th t now s ve as t eir pr on. eir g ave. F d t th r r lvi o "

The Red Chord - Fused Together In Revolving Doors

US import. It's barely available in The Netherlands and all the resellers here look suspect. Ordered it from a website that imports too. So here it is, with the appropriate cover, the demo tracks, and even the interactive menu. One of my best buys ever...
