As the title says. I'm not looking for just general left wing anarchy like Crass, but specifically stuff lyrics that are pro-communism/pro-marxism - not necessarily soviet (though it can be). General anarchopunk bands that allude to communist ideas are fine too as I've come to find its quite slim pickings in this field. I'm mostly interested in hardcore punk or oi type anthemic stuff but 90s thuggish hardcore is okay too.

Oh yeah, and lyrics in English, please.

I don't think socialist punk is hard to find to be honest. Punk ìs a lefty form of music.

^Asking for socialist punk is akin to asking for satanic black metal.

Communist/Marxist themes are also relatively common.

Not much use saying they're common and not naming names. I did explain in my OP that I'm looking for full on communism and not general lefty stuff, and with lyrics in English.

I've got Red London and a few other bands with red in the name but searching for communist punk mostly turns out anti-communist results. Infact, its way easier to find anti-communist/marxist punk bands than pro-.

If they're so common it shouldn't be too hard to drop a few names.

removed 'socialist' from request too as its a broader, vaguer term that doesn't quite cover what I'm looking for

Except when you deal with nationalist/nazicore punk.

By 'communist' what do you mean? Do you mean "Rise up, peons and oppressed masses of the earth", do you mean "Name off all the crimes of the bourgeoisie", do you mean "smash a rich guy's skull with a red hammer", do you mean "we are one, fight as one", what are the specifics you're looking for?
Antiflag is the first thing I thought of, and the more obscure tracks from Rage Against the Machine (like 'Producer'), and I could say Propagandhi. And that's not the necessarily obscure stuff either.

I suppose I've heard a bunch of punk with far left/socialist ideaologies and lyrics that allude to communist ideas, but I'm looking for stuff that fully embraces that i.e. bands that openly claim communism/marxism in their lyrics and suit a good portion if not all of their material around it.

I guess I'm looking for explicit stuff. Just very open and direct. Could be political and sophisticated in message, or could be about red flags and street fights, I just don't want anything too vague, and I don't want just general leftist lyrics i.e. Crass. The communist equivalent to Skrewdriver, in commitment to their mission, openness etc. That kind of direct punk thats gets its message across within 30 seconds. Especially Oi/anthemic stuff with relatively comprehensible vocals. Not so much RATM-type stuff.

Oh, well while many bands embrace parts of communist ideology and aspects of marxism, but I haven't come across many who are hard core commie or support an actual communist regime (guess I could have been clearer in my previous post). That said, here's a communist punk band:

I would point to Ton Steine Scherben as sort of a proto-punk krautrock band with very plainly anarcho-communist lyrics, but you asked for English lyrics.

check Crisis, they were an actual marxist punk band from the early punk era

their lyrics indeed dealt with marxist ideology and things regarding the socialist countries of that time, years later they became Death In June after (obsessed with politics as they were) moving to more fascist ideas and symbology, definitely worth checking.

I don't know if ska punk is what you're looking for - but Catch 22 have an entire album about the life of Leon Trotsky. The (International) Noise Conspiracy are an explicitly Marxist band.
