I need to work with a Black Death Metal drummer for a new album I am working on and thinking about recruiting someone who is active already to ensure great technical ability and an original signature sound.

Could you list drummers who might be interested if you have any in mind as I might have a missed a lot of them outthere!

Thanks!

Nick Barker, he's worked with Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, and Brujeria.

Torturer, who was Belphegor's drummer for a while, has worked with a lot of bands as well.

Wouldn't it be much easier listing drummers who are NOT in several black metal bands? I can think of none.

Hellhammer, obviously. Love his drumming on DMDS and Arcturus' La Masquerade Infernale. Very technical, but also atmospheric.

I guess Adrian Erlandsson counts as well, Tony Laureano, Tim Yeung, Marco Pitruzzella, maybe Derek Roddy and Trym Torson would be interested depending on the style and band's profile, I dunno.

Tried Trym as well, said he wishes to take a break from drumming altogether now and focus on his work!

To not hear Trym's drumming anymore would be a travesty. He's one of my favorites.

Recommend you this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9H9D-qymOo
He played with Gorgoroth and Aeternus, very technical and original drummer.

Hannes Grossman does a lot of for hire/session work and he's damn good to boot.
