I'm wondering if anyone knows any good grindcore songs that are more slow tempo than most grindcore songs.

A lot of openers for albums tend to be slow.

Self Destruct by Excruciating Terror is a good one. Devestatingly heavy. The song A Technicality also is slow a good part of the time. Very good tracks.

Napalm Death "Evolved as One" from Enslavement to Obliteration is a good one. The song sounds nothing like anything else on the album.

"Time" by Brutal Truth is another slower one, although there are a couple parts that are blast speed/up-tempo.

And 'Collapse' on the 'Need to Control' album.

Nasum has a couple.

"Worldcraft"
"Wrath"

Probably more.

That and "Multinational Corporations pt 2" are shining examples of the huge influence Swans had on early ND.

Napalm Death's Contemptous (brilliant) off Utopia Banished
Napalm Death's Morale (again, brilliant) off The Code is Red...
Brutal Truth's Ordinary Madness (their pinnacle IMO), off Need to Control
Cephalic Carnage;s Hall of Amenti (19 min sludge/doom track EP) - maybe too long but still crushing
