The clear winner though seems to be Harm's Way; they're pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks a ton!

yes, yes, and yes.

You'd probably dig Xilabanananaaaaa. I feel like I should like them, but I find it pretty fucking boring.

Also check out Weekend Nachos. No Entombed swag jacking, but they're boys with Harm's Way and Unforgivable fucking kicks ass. Although Worthless is heavier,so that might appeal to you more.

The two new Weekend Nacho tracks they made available are amazing and I really enjoy that sound. Fast again. But I really like any Weekend Nachos. Their stuff on This Comp. Kills Facists Vol. 1 is the best.

Another good band on This Comp. Kills Facists is Agents of Satan. The Old Testament is a good slab of weird grind/powerviolence. Hilarious vocals.

I've got a first press of Unforgivable on black wax with the silver foil stamped cover I might be willing to part with if the price/trade is right.

I don't know how much gore is in their grind, but People probably have a song or two that could fit here. Mostly they kind of veer into Mr. Bungle territory.

I am curious on how the more punk side grindcore sounds like, what are some good grindcore bands that aren't on this site do to being for more punk, or maybe on this site, but still with a bigger punk influence.

Figured I'd preach to the choir instead of preaching to morons that may or may not get me banned for a day or two.

Any of you guys like the new Agents of Abhorrence LP? Thinking about picking it up. The two songs I heard seem to be pretty cool, not really the style I'm into the most but who knows, I could be in for a treat.

You could start with the bands that were more in the punk realm during grindcore's formative years.

Siege
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kOw567iyLU
Heresy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho-4yjzCuDw
S.O.B
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpo7LfQ8HYQ
Extreme Noise Terror (their first LP and the Peel Sessions)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogNz7bVG3rg

90's stuff...

Enemy Soil
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1f-DsZCafE
Warsore
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vaom0OqHT4c
Rot
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jhi8a1t ... B09059632B

2000's/current

Nasum Older stuff. yeah they rocked a metal guitar tone, but the drumming is all single pedal stuff and they all had a punk pedigree.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0ZnMEZyY2U
Six Brew Bantha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG-DJ2gJ ... 79E50E7DD9
Triac
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqo0VWKuf-o
Massgrave
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIck3uLd ... 7182863F7A
Wormrot I think they fall more into the punk realm (plus they're not on MA)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN110NHkoik
Sakatat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZH3nQRvLPI
Parlamentarisk Sodomi
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kafLVzVO3gk

A lot of Power Violence/ hardcore bands could count too, and sometimes it feels like when a grind band has too thin of a guitar tone or lack of a low-end production or clearer vox they get called a power violence/hardcore band.

So check out these PV/hardcore/fastcore/whateverthefuck bands

Extortion
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjjBtWNsYJ0
Lycanthrophy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny9Ke8rFouw
Yacopsae

It's on youtube in it's 14 min entirety. There's some nasty as fuck riffs in there. It's kinda weird while still being rad. Some of the riffs verge on being something you'd hear from Baroness or Kylesa an album or two ago but then they blast over them. Would like to hear it on some better speakers than my comp as I bet it'd sound burly as shit. A unique approach and one that i'd bet would get better over multiple listens.

Yeah, that riff at 2min on the first song and then the opening riff on the second are gnarly.

I think it's pretty weak to be honest, though I say that as a huge fan of their earlier dissonant DA-ish grind. New one's just kinda boring and middle-of-the-road. It's an okay album on its own I guess, but a disappointment to me.

Sacridose is rad, just wish there were some low vocals in there to balance it out!

New SBB track from the upcoming split w/ Suffering Mind is a ripper, holy fuck.
