Okay so this is like the only Akercocke song I've ever listened to because I'm extremely lazy and I've probably ruined the entire album for myself because I'll always associate the whole thing with just this one song, but whatever.



The indie rock (I think? not entirely sure) part from like 1:23 to 2:51. I really like it. If there were any bands that made an entire sound out of stuff like that, I think I'd enjoy it immensely. Synths similar to those used in the song are not necessary, but they'd be nice. I'm mostly looking for a match on the vocals, I'm not too concerned about the sound of the guitars as long as it's within that general spectrum.

Tool, perhaps? I did not listen to them a lot but from what I recall the vocals were similar. It sounds more prog rock-ish than indie rock imo.
