There are a lot of shows that to me are "must go-to" but this actually is and I will make it a reality. Seriously like my favorite death metal album!

Who is drumming for this though!?

The promo photo used was the one with Tim Yeung from when Illud came out, so I'm just gonna assume it's him. Maybe Pete's just tired of doing Morbid Angel after all these years and is taking an extended break.

You gotta admit though that since they added Tim to the live group, the band has been reinvigorated on the performing side of things. Tim's a much more flashy, show off style player than Pete, and it's rubbed off on the other three guys, who are headbanging and moving around in ways that you haven't seen from them in years.

That's cool. I mean Pete cannot be beat in my opinion but I can understand. I honestly liked some of the newer Terrorizer stuff so it's cool that he is doing that if he still is doing that.

They're not coming to Dallas... :annoyed:

Might have to scrounge up some change to make it to Houston for this one. Unless I somehow magically end up back in Michigan before they come to Chicago.

I've never seen Morbid Angel. Still worth going to a live show for?

I saw them last year and they are flawless live. I'd say it's worth it.

If I had to guess, Im thinking Pete's out of the band for good. His FB page is very religious, to the point where it's bible verses every day.

I'm with the above. He's posted almost nothing but Bible shit online for a long damn time, and the band seem perfectly fine to just go on with Tim Yeung as the drummer without actually naming him as Pete's replacement.

I might go to this I don't know though. Who else is touring with them?

Wow, only 20 bucks at the door where I'm at.

Sign me up; 'Covenant' is easily my favorite Morbid Angel album.

To my knowledge it's just Morbid Angel and whoever they get locally for each show. I know a couple bands I'm friends with in a couple different cities are doing the shows in their area.

Yeah, that's it. I've seen a flyer for the Baltimore show with Visceral Disgorge and another band on it, and on my date, Mortal Decay and Rivers of Nihil are opening up.

Let me know when David Vincent leaves again and Steve Tucker comes back for a Gateways to Annihilation tour.

Got my ticket and cannot wait until November. Never seen Morbid Angel before but I hear nothing but good things about their shows.

They haven't lost a step live even with a change in drummers and their massive dropoff in album quality. David Vincent sounds great and the others are razor sharp playing wise.

Glad to hear it. I received my ticket today and am very excited for this upcoming show. (Morbid Angel virgin) :)

I might actually be able to make it to Baltimore for this.

I'll be at the Philly show. Haven't seem Mortal Decay for a while, so I'm looking forward to that as well as Morbid Angel. Hopefully there will be more of a crowd than at that Death show in the summer.

Just got back from Baltimore. Visceral Disgorge opened first, then Yesterday's Saint, then VadimVon, then Morbid Angel.

The bands opening aren't very impressive for the St. Louis show. Had never heard of any of them, none of them are on the archives, and its seems none of them have been together for more than a year. MA is going really cheap on the opening acts. Kind of cool to get some more local stuff but when I read 2 of bands influences its all As I Lay Dying, Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Deftones, etc. The very first band is black metal from the grim and frostbitten realm of St. Louis, Missouri but I think I'll probably just show up as as close to MA's set as I can. Otherwise I end up standing out back and drinking and smoking and its a Tuesday show and I can't get excessively hammered. Still pumped to finally see MA live despite no Commando on the kit.

All local band opened. Morbid Angel was very good. 1-hr, 20-25 minute set.
