I'm looking for Thrash in the vein of these 2 specific songs:

Sacrosanct - The Sickened Thrill https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl1_w7IJ6iY
Mortal Sin - I Am Immortal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4OuXmUjbs0

- Tracks should be nearing 5 minutes or longer playing time.
- Must have loads of different parts, particularly a lengthy, predominately instrumental mid-section, and lots of guitar solos.
- Must have gruffer / lower-register vocals (no Blitz / Petrozza-style screaching)
- Must not be revivalist crap.

I prefer whole albums in this vein. The rest of the Sacrosanct and Mortal Sin albums that those tracks come from don't hold a candle to these specific songs.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Smalley - I didn't expect Kreator to be playing Folk Metal! Sure, it's not as one-dimensional as their "classic" era, but still not my thing.

Are the songs on Time Does Not Heal too obvious? Some of the songs are very wordy, but they inevitably contain many different sections and instrumental parts. I think the vocals might turn you off (it's not shrieking but definitely in the higher-range), but Deathrow's Deception Ignored is definitely a milestone in high riffcount and instrumentally-oriented thrash. Actually, there are a number of bands coming to mind high on riff changes that employ more upper-range/shrieky singers (like Ulysses Siren, Aspid, and Heathen).

EDIT: Come to think of it, Stone checks all boxes.

I think Anacrusis would fit your description, if you can listen to the music for what it is. Kenn Nardi definitely does NOT have a low/gruff sounding voice, but this is epic prog-thrash mastery at it's absolute best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvuM2rCl1eU

Another one I think you'd enjoy, Disciples of Power. Vocalist would definitely fit your preferance, as they are considered a death/thrash band but write suprisingly beautiful music. And of course, they aren't afraid to kick your fucking ass when they want to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvuM2rCl1eU

Destroyer 666 - Unchain the Wolves. And set them fucking wild. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg-Kva94R7Q

Hexenhaus - The Edge of Eternity. Hope you like these guys aswell! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5vFxskQX34

And definitely seconding HamburgerBoy's recommendation of Deception Ignored! :headbang:

Manilla Road's Mystification should be right up your alley - epic metal with lots of thrash influence on that album especially. Much of their 80s material hits a similar vein

this is probably pretty close to what you want - particularly the tracks toward the end of the album
