Old Finnish heavy metal.

Very cool album. NWOBHM-ish at times. Shame the reissue is sold-out and I cannot find it for a decent price.

Yeah, I got it used some 7 years ago. Really a fun album. Also tried to get the LP once but failed.

Edguy - Babylon

Pretty much a modern classic I guess. Catchy, iconoclastic and fun.

Cranium - Dentist of Death

Rocks! Although not the best song on the album. Hope I never meet that guy for business...

Strange that now with the tragic loss of Jeff Hanneman, I hear the 'Dentist of Death' singing 'The final swing is indeed a drill, it's how many patients I can kill'. Coincidence? Maybe.

I still have that Tom Waits songs out that you've sent me.

NP: The Ruins of Beverast - I Raised this Stone as a Ghastly Memorial

Doomier and huger than Rain Upon the Impure. Unfortunately just not as good.

Antediluvian- Towers of Silence

Still loving the new album. Very unorthodox drum patterns, but the way the guitars snake around them makes for a pretty unsettling experience. I might like this more than "Through the Cervix of Hawwah". I recommend listening to this album with headphones on; in my car the sound is pretty impenetrable.

And it sounded awesome. Nuria's vocals remind me of Patti Smith for some reason.

Might throw up a review on the EP once I've listened to it thoroughly and have had it sink in

Cool song title, badass riff, rockin' pace...it's a killer tune.

Titan Force - Toll of Pain

I've listened to this album every few weeks for a couple years now, and the returns have never diminished. Conklin is fucking ruling on this USPM cult classic. :headbang:

Edit: whoa, eerily similar posts there, haha
