Right, further to my mini-disaster the other day here is what I got

Corrosion Of Conformity ‎– Blind [one of my favourite albums ever, this is the original US version]
Damaged ‎– Token Remedies Research [excellent AUS grinding death noise]
Grand Supreme Blood Court ‎– Bow Down Before The Blood Court [not bad, another Van Drunen project]
Melvins ‎– Dale Crover [part of a set of 3, I think the King Buzzo one is 'the good one' from memory]
Zyklon ‎– World Ov Worms [I really dig these guys, I must have them all by now]

Record Store Day was quite expensive for me. I got several things from both Black Mess Records and Sound Garden:

Image

Hybernoid - Technology/Regression, Weird this band would show up after I had just downloaded one of their albums. A rather obscure band with a strange genre label: (old school) industrial death/doom metal. Sounded promising to me.
Incantation / Denial Fiend - Afterparty Massacre
The Gates of Slumber - Hymns of Blood and Thunder
Type O Negative / Deep Purple - Highway Star, This is why I went to Sound Garden in the first place, got to collect all Type O Negative!

Image

Anatomia - Decaying in Obscurity
Cannibal Corpse - Dead Human Collection: 25 Years of Death Metal, Didn't plan on getting this in a record shop ever. I was considering buying it online somewhere, but I saw it in Sound Garden for a good price, so I just couldn't resist.
Dystopia - Dystopia
Sonne Adam - Transformation

Yeah.... I spent a bit more than I was expecting. I broke down and got some records from Black Mess to support them. All of the vinyl was from Black Mess other than the Type O Negative / Deep Purple split. And the Slayer - Live Undead t-shirt was also from Black Mess. They had a few other really cool t-shirts too, especially the Electric Wizard and Rigor Mortis shirts they had, but I don't really like them enough to get their shirts.

Even though I told myself to hold out buying things until my two packages came (I've been waiting on them for months :grr: ), I caved in and went to the record store to get these classics.

Immolation - Close to a World Below
My Dying Bride - Turn Loose the Swans
Heaven and Hell - The Devil You Know

Fuck yeah. Many thanks to the user on here who introduced them to me about a year back! I've been preaching the gospel of Hybernoid ever since.
I've been meaning to get their EP's, though I believe they are mostly/all just album tracks... still, they'd be nice to own!

Also, fuck you for getting the DP/TON split! ;__;
I was really hoping to find that one...

Tonight was Happenin Fest 2013 here... Shit wore me out. 5 PM to 1 AM... Having ingested nothing but booze and cigarette smoke the entire time, I am dehydrated and starving and totally haggard! I only had a little money left, so I got only one tape, "Heavy Petting" by a band called Nudity.

I haven't even attempted to look for any of their stuff online, but when I saw that, I knew I had to buy it. As for the TON split, my record store had about 5 of them left, and I didn't get there until about 5 PM or so (I was considering buying two of them). Plus, when I was in the other record shop, they said it was crowded as hell over there, so I almost didn't even bother going, but I really had to try due to the TON item.

Which brings me to the Cannibal Corpse boxed set, unholy shit is this an amazing item. And for the price I paid? I feel like it was a total steal. The packaging is absolutely spectacular, and the extra goodies were really thought out well and presented impeccably. I couldn't be happier with it, even right down to the little gatefold slipcase for the live CD.... this boxed set is perfect. I'd say even if you own every Cannibal Corpse CD, this boxed set still may be worth getting due to the Pic. Disc/live CD, calender and album artwork included (which are 12 individual posters with all the songs/lyrics printed on the back of each one), and especially if you are a die-hard Cannibal Corpse fan, I'd say do not hesitate.

Is that the box that looks like it'll be records but it's a bit light, then you open it and there's one record and a whole pile of CDs?

Yes....much to my delight. 13 LPs would cost a lot more than $99.99 (more like $999.99).

Picked up Ghost - Infesstisumam from my local Best Buy, only on the grounds that it was 12$ with no shipping fees but the parental advisory explicit content print on the liner notes was really irritating. But still, fantastic album, albeit a bit less metal than Opus Eponymous but I suppose that's why its being sold at Best Buy in the first place!

There was Philadelphia based label called Forever Plagued Records who came down a state to sell their merch at the Sorcery/Infinitum Obscure show there and based on what I found they definitely have an outstanding collection:
Image
Inquisition - Magnificent Glorification of Lucifer
Inquisition - Nefarious Dismal Orations
Nightbringer - Apocalypse Sun
Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence
Mortuary Drape - Into The Drape / All Witches Dance

From Black Mess Records who were also there:
Image
Varathron - Genesis of the Unaltered Evil Triple LP (Test Press included #16/20)
Infinitum Obscure - Ipsus Universum 10"

Based on the cover alone, I would say yes. Similar artists (I believe?) would be Communion, Perversor, Wrathprayer and the like. Definitely my kind of thing.

I'm still a fair bit behind a lot of people on here, but I'm working my way up. I just went and got myself Defenders Of The Faith by Judas Priest. If everything goes as planned, I'll be able to get Screaming For Vengeance some time next month. ...It's a slow process.

I know the feeling. It's ages since I bought album last time. Last time I ordered through internet was in January 2012. Last time I bought from shop with cash was few weeks ago but before that... I don't even remember. Gotta buy more frequently.

Lucky to get the Demo IV yourself then, great release!
I really like the artwork/layout on it.

And, where did you get the new Trist tape? I want...!
