That was May 29th I've still got the flier, I'm pretty sure it was Amon Amarth on 4/20.

It would be awesome if my birthday was 4/20, though

I always get warm and fuzzy when I read about the cool forum members hanging out and getting fucked up.

That Amon Amarth show was awesome though, god damn. When Johan was giving his little speech about how Washington has good beer, I yelled out "we have some damn good pot too." He then pauses for a good second, holds the mike towards the crowd and says "Washington. DO YOU AGREE?" And there was an eruption of cheering, it was glorious.

Basically. I always say I'd love to live out on a farm when I get really old and retire. For now I need big cities and lots of friends/acquaintances.

Just got home from Death to All, great fucking time for sure. Anciients was pretty meh (not really my thing) but Death was fantastic and Max kicked serious ass. Also met BastardHead at the show tonight.

That's highly awesome, though yeah, talk about having a niche

Creative writing sounds particularly cool, though I don't think I'd ever take up that. My narrative skills are..... Well, non-existent :-P

Congrats Empyreal! A new chapter beckons and all the best for that.

I've been listening to Clann Zu. They're an eclectic mix of celtic folk, post-rock and some minimal electronica. All in all, good calm relaxing music.

Enya but with guitars? I can't really talk as I've been playing a huge amount of Hammock lately.

Well, yes and no. See for yourself Caspo - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivd8WZwzZkw
Few of their other songs are more guitar driven.

So here's The Ruins of Beverast playing live for the first time ever at Roadburn 2013.

Believe the songs are the end of "Kain's Countenance Fell" and "Between Bronze Walls".

Never give up! You won the moral victory here. Don't let the internet bullies (you know who you are Tony) quench the flame of true metal truth and conscious freedom of knowledge of what's RIGHT. In metal, and in real life. We are the true warriors that have triumphed and conquered this day (yesterday). Raise the shields and swords!!!

Man, I would punch babies to see TROB live. They really need to come to the Messe des Morts someday, I would gladly replace Sargeist and Horna (they'll play with Baptism at the next one) for them!

Beverast on Party.San Open Air 2013 is what needs to happen. It's just the natural course of things. Only an evil, twisted god would prevent it.

Just went to Communion + Slaughtbbath + Putrid Yell + Apostasy + Force of Darkness = pure blasphemy! I bought the Slaughtbbath's debut and Excoriate cds. Also, I'm getting my whole left arm tattooed tomorrow.

Gotcha, Tony. Never heard of it before, but it looks like mostly traditional heavy metal.

Also, Kit Kat Klub?

Has anybody here ever taken Abilify? It was proposed to me today as a replacement for the Haldol that had no desirable effect on me, and I'd like to hear some testimony from some people other than that friend of mine. Cheers to anyone who can help. :)

Just saw a few of the videos of The Ruins of Beverast's live performance, and they sounded great! I'd be really interested in knowing what sort of rig they're running...I think I spotted an Orange TH100, which would explain the monster clean tones.
