I was wary of putting this in the actual trading sub-forum.

Is there anyone on here who is willing to trade some metal albums for some rare Pokemon cards from the first few sets of cards? My roommate has a bunch that he is willing to trade. Maybe you can message me if you're interested, or post here. Whatever you want.

I saw a post on NWN and the first pressing of that card varies anywhere from 1,000 dollars to a high of 5800.

I once traded one of those and £9 for a copy of pokemon gold on GBC -_-. Dunno if it was a first pressing, but this was years and years ago

If you want to get a lot for an original Charizard it has to be 1st edition or at least shadowless (another original pressing that came after the first edition set, basically looks the same as the one pictured except the text is thinner and the frame around the image doesnt have a shadow, hence shadowless) The one pictured isn't actually worth a ton. Less than 100. Old Pokemon cards aren't worth nearly as much as people think purely because everyone had them and everyone STLL has them. Check trollandtoad.com for a price guide if you're really interested. (yes I play the Pokemon TCG, SO WHAT?)
