I had forgotten how good AA's debut is. Too bad they got stale and gimmicky so quickly (even if Twilight of the Thunder God has its fair share of good songs).

Hell yes, that's a great track. I also really dig "Make Glorious the Embrace of Saturn", that track fucking rips. Listened to Vanitas on my way to work today... just a phenomenal album.

Vektor - Cosmic Cortex, off Outer Isolation

This album is much tighter playing wise than Black Future, and considering how technical that album is already, that's saying something. It's just that the band here sounds so much more focused..... I mean, Black Future is awesome, yes, but its excessive length makes it a bit of a chore to listen to most of the time. OI has no such problems.
