I order a lot from http://www.moribundcult.com/ and http://www.thorshammerproductions.com/ always super fast shipping and great deals.

just placed a big order with http://mercenarymusik.com/ first order, lots of good stuff and no shipping cost within the US, seems pretty legit.

edit: This place has a shit load of hard to find stuff http://www.blackscaped.de

Yes they are!

I'll ask again about Methorn mailorder. I've ordered there once, but the delivery took a very long time and the guy didn't answer to any of my e-mails I sent to him about the package.
So has anyone ordered from Methron lately? If so, how did it go?
Thanks in advance!

http://methorn.de/

EDIT: Oh and he added one wrong item in the package instead of the one he should have.

Highly recommend Underground Symphony. Less than two weeks for my package to come from Italy to the US, plus they have an excellent selection of power/heavy metal CDs.

I ordered Alda - :Tahoma: on digipak from pest productions over a month ago. I messaged the distro, informing them I had not received my item. In response, I was sent this message:
"邓张 <[email protected]>

Hi,

Sorry for delay, Don't warry for your order, I think you will get asap.

Thanks,
D."

Fucking lord. I seriously hope I get some sort of refund from this guy. If that doesn't work I may have to consider filing a claim with paypal, although I have never done that before.

I'm going to respond with this message: "Hello again. It has been over a month since I ordered my CD from your store on the 18th of November. I regret to inform you that I have not received my item. I would like a refund for my purchase of the Alda Tahoma digipak please." I really hope this works.

It's official, SoM sucks.

Made an order for 3 CDs, 3 patches, and 2 shirts, carefully tuned to have the best p&p cost. All available at the time I made the order.

One of the CDs was the Septic Flesh MPoD reissue so I had to wait a long time (end of December till now, no problem). Today they sent me a message saying that 2 of the CDs and one of the patches are no longer available. Got refunded, but with no chance to replace the items and I ended up with the same p&p that I had for the initial order.

That's a buggered shame. They should take a page from Amazon, and if you have an order with multiple items including a preorder, they should just "hold" the other items for you so as to complete your order as requested. After all, you're the one who had the foresight to order multiple items at once to save on shipping. :|

On a side note, I did order the MPoD reissue from Amazon, and it just shipped today. Stoked to finally have and hear it.

In hindsight I should have bought it from Amazon, yes. It would have spared me the money and time of having to deal with their (SoM) broken webshop and customer support.

Anyone? :violin:

Yes, they are. I've ordered from them several times. Good service, fast shipping (if I remember correctly, maybe about a week or so to get here - PA, USA).

Perverted Taste ( http://www.pervertedtaste.de ) is a great label to do business with. I've ordered from them for a while now, and will continue to do so. Usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get here from Germany. Great service and selection. They add in a discount when you spend a certain amount and if you spend even more will allow one free CD! Their 4 CDs for 9,99 EUR is a great deal too!

A couple pages back some people mentioned Open Grave Records ( http://www.opengraveshop.com ) . I ordered from them recently and had no problems. Took around a week to get here. Their sale section has great prices. Only thing I was curious about - One of the albums I ordered was supposed to be hand-numbered to 1000 copies. The back of the case has the area where the number would be written, but no number appears. I don't blame Open Grave for this, but I don't know how this happened.

Trollzorn ( http://www.trollzorn.de ) is another good label. Good bands on their label, fast shipping, and excellent service. Haven't ordered from them in a little while, but when I did they put in a good amount of free things (CDs, patches, even a shirt once!).

I had a bad experience with Stellar Winter Records in 2006. I sent them my payment of $75 for a couple CDs and cassettes and was told my order shipped. The order never came, so I e-mailed them, but never heard back. I sent multiple e-mails, and I think I even sent one as recent as earlier this year hoping that maybe some changes took place and would hear back, but no luck. Has anyone had success with them?

A HUGE Fucking thanks to ScottP! I had searched about 150 distros and shops and could either:

1. Never find the rare 90's death metal vinyl I wanted, or;
2. Could find the LP, but the price being asked was beyond absurd.

Although I have some CD's from perverted taste, I had no clue they had a distro. Turns out they had 10 Vinyls I seriously wanted at very reasonable prices. I am fucking thrilled right, thanks for the suggestion!

So, does anyone have any recent experience with Brutal Bands? Checked their Facebook, and people have been waiting for months for their orders (paid and all), without any answers through mail or anything. Is he ripping people off?

Bubonic Productions is an excellent label/distro. Good communication and shipped the order the day after it was placed. Arrived in the US from Portugal in good shape and decent time.

So, have anyone had any problems with HHR in the last month? I ordered some stuff a little over a month ago, and it still hasn't arrived. According to the tracking number, the package have been sent back and forth between Valley City, New York, Akron and a few other places. I sent HHR and email a week ago or something, but they haven't answered.

I've ordered from them several times, but never had any problems and they usually also answer their mails pretty fast.

Have had multiple good dealings w/ Primal Vomit Records. Good selection and communication, and while they might not be the quickest at sending your order out, they always give you a timeframe for when it will be sent and let you know once it has been shipped.

Avoid the Australian distro Obsidian Records at all costs. Very unreliable, disorganized and just a headache to deal with. No communication seems to get through as all the emails addressed to them get sent back. And after you confirm your order they actually have some last minute, stupid bullshit they prompt you with about not shipping your order for about six weeks or so. Shouldn't that be posted in plain sight and not after you've placed your order? Sorry, but that's how a fucking worm conducts business, not someone who is honest and upfront.

I've a question about Ancient Records...

On 27-11-2012 I made an order for:

Bekëth Nexëhmü - De Dunkla Herrarna (lp)
Bekëth Nexëhmü - De Dunkla Herrarna (cd)
Svartrit - Svarthetens Ridå (lp)

I paid directly after knowing the costs, but haven't a). received an notification of payment yet, b). any information about shipping or c). any reaction after my order.

On 12-02-2013 I sent a polite email about the situation but haven't got a response so far....

Anyone any info about this label?

It takes awhile sometimes. The last time I ordered stuff, it took about a month, but he was pretty apologetic about it.

From the website:
"I have packed and shipped out around 1500+ LPs these past 3 weeks. I still have around 20 orders left to do. As probobly understood I got more work in then I thought I would, so of course this have dragged out on the time. And problems have occurred on the way. So things are delayed. Ill write it again, things are delayed. I am doing all this by myself and I of course have other obligations too to do each day(as everyone else) that takes up my time, then just sitting around and packing records 24/7. So keep in mind things are DELAYED. Your records are on their way just give it a little time. No need to send 20x e-mails asking if your package is sent out or not. I dont have ANY TIME to answer any e-mails atm.

Also EVERYTHING is SOLD OUT. So to everyone sending in orders; I will not answer them as nothing is available."

I'd hang in there. Your stuff is probably on the way.

Just going to recommend two distros:

http://www.aestheticdeath.com/shop.php

Aesthetic Death - a UK distro run by one guy, but very professionally. Decent prices, and great service - I received an email of apology because the guy behind it hadn't sent out my 1-CD order 3 days (!) after it was placed due to being hospitalised! Highly recommended.

http://www.mesacounojo.com/store/index.php

Me Saco Un Ojo - another UK distro; the website might not always be up to date (three-fifths of my order was out of stock) but the guy behind it has a very good sense of fairness. Might take a bit of prompting for him to get around to your order though. Excellent selection.

Very nice thread, but I might come in late to get a proper distro sending stuffs to Mauritius (I know, its quite a burden I must say). I decided to start building my collection, based on my favourites in the short run but am looking for quick shipping. I ordered stuffs from Amazon last week and it should come around April, which takes quite a while. :(

Hi there,

Here's my story : I've pre order things from Hypothermia (Kim Carlsson) last year ( april 2012 ), 3 tapes, 1 LP and a special shirt for a total amount of 67 euros that I sent by banktransfer.
I had to wait since January 2013, when I've ask if my order was ready to be shipped Kim said to me that he lost my address.
So I sent a mail to him with my address, since this ( the 21/01/13 ) I never received anything, and no answers to my many mails I sent to him after that...
I've see on his Facebook there was some people who received their orders, and some who were still waiting with no answers to their mails...
So I'd like to know if there are some people in the same situation than me, I don't understand that someone like Kim with a well-known reputation act against his interest
by strange situation like that...
I just wanted to add that I was order some things through Insikt in 2008 ( his label ) and it was take 3 months before I got what I've order, after many mails he finally shipped my parcel,
so delays seems to be common with him...
Thanks for your possible evidence in regards to that matter, I'm really pissed off because I wait patiently since 1 year now ( ! ) for my order and I've got nothing nor informations about this situation.

Ordered from Dead Center Productions, a label/distro based on Ukraine, and it took around two weeks to receive my package in the USA (not far from NYC). They had some issues with listed products being out of stock, as all small distros tend to have, but their prices were great, they had a unique assortment of intriguing, odd releases, and their prices were extremely low, and even cheaper with the sale they were holding for clearing out old stock. My package was very small, around 1x5x8 inches, with meticulously well packed CDs and booklets.

Great distro, worth checking out. Although they're small, I highly recommend it as the service was good and the prices cheap enough that my order expanded to ~15 titles from the one that I initially wanted to get from them. Funny enough, I got Cosmic Atrophy's "Codex Incubo" from them, the album masterminded by rexxz, who originally posted this thread many years ago.
