I have a yamaha cassette 4 track and don't know how to fix the tape motor. is there a place (anywhere in the united states) where you can mail these things in and they fix them and send them back for money?

You can try this place: http://www.tsirepair.com/repairs.html

..or if you're feeling adventurous, take a look inside the machine. Maybe it's just a broken belt that you can replace yourself ?
