I'm looking for proto/early heavy metal with lots of harmonized guitars. Stuff like Thin Lizzy, you know?

Give Survivor a go, it's very heavily influenced by Thin Lizzy. Search for the album All Your Pretty Moves.

Ha ha, I just new that would be Doctor Doctor. It is a deliciously catchy song, isn't it?

This is exactly the kind of thread I've been looking for recently, I just didn't know how to word what I was looking for. I'm really into Sigh's "Gallows Gallery", which to me is a more experimental/eclectic version of this style, but can't find much else like that. Will definitely keep an eye on this thread.
Also, since it might apply to what the OP is looking for, here's a track from that album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B6az2nciSU

Bible of the Devil's last two or three full-lengths. A few of the tracks sound exactly like golden age Thin Lizzy.
And also Valkyrie (this one) if you don't mind the doomier approach. Sabbath meets Lizzy/Maiden kind of deal.

Manilla Road's Invasion and Mark Of The Beast are what you need.

Mark Shelton plays guitar, and he layers his guitar solos like Tony Iommi did on early Sabbath albums-- one solo coming out the left channel, and another solo coming out the right channel at the same time.

Wishbone Ash specifically the album Argus. Kind of the foundation for harmonized guitars that Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden built upon.

The Devils Blood sound a lot like early Thin Lizzy among their other 70's influences (The Coven, Roky Erickson & Wishbone Ash)
Check Ghost from Sweden, they sound like Mercyful Fate would sound if they would record their first album on 1974 , You will find a lot of proto metal harmonized guitars here.

You propably know them but mentioning just in case, Blue Oyster Cult, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep. Also Tygers of Pan Tang John Sykes band before he joined Thin Lizzy
