I'm not really too sure how to explain what I'm looking for, but I seem to be really enjoying songs similar to the intro to Subjected to a Beating and Womb to Waste.

I've been really into Melodeath for the past 4 years or so (I'm only 19, so that's a pretty big chunk) but I'm beginning to realize that the 'Melodic' aspects are wearing thin on me. I dislike the vocals in Brutal Death, and I despise Goregrind and the like. Actually, I generally greatly enjoy Brutal Death and Slam Death, but the vocals ruin it for me (bands like Abnormity, Abominable Putridity...)

I greatly enjoy...
-Miseration's first 2 albums, especially The Mirroring Shadow
-Heaven Shall Burn's Iconoclast I (Final Resistance)
-All Shall Perish's tracks In This Life of Pain, Procession of Ashes
----For a better list of what I enjoy, Last.FM is in the signature

I also tend to dislike 'older' DM. I mean, I do enjoy it, but I've got some insatiable craving at the moment. I think it's simply because of the lower recording quality? I don't know.

Basically, all I want is some bands that may or may not be similar to what I've described as enjoying.

TL;DR
Goregrind bad, Slam Death with better vocals good

I'm sorry if the OP isn't very concise or coherent, I'm kinda scatterbrained at the moment.

The Russian band Fetal Decay, as is indicated by their band name, are pretty much as close to a Dying Fetus clone as you can get:

Jesus fuckin' Christ, the dude on the album cover has a Dying Fetus patch on his pants. Even they know they're ripping the fuck off of DF.

EDIT: There's also Poppy Seed Grinder, though they have some oinky vocals you might have to get around:

I know you said you don't like typical Brutal Death vocals, but if you enjoy Dying Fetus, you might be able to get into Wormed or Detrimentum - BDM without gore and with slightly better vocals. Also, check out Lecherous Nocturne.
