Hello all. Recently I've had a very specific niche of music I want fulfilled. During my last acid trip I listened to the songs "Can't Lose You" by Type O Negative and "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. Both made excellent use of world music against an almost psychedelic-rock backdrop. Each song really stuck out to me and I was looking for other songs, or better yet bands that play entirely in a similar style. The warm peaceful vibe of each song is sort of the most important part of what I'm looking for, but I also really enjoy the sitar, oriental or various other world styles mixed in. Thank you guys in advance!

Here are the links to the two above mentioned songs

try some mid to late period Alchemist as well as Rudra and Kartikeya.

though the above are heavier than what you mentioned, they all feature some immense other worldly songwriting coupled with touches of exotic/ world instrumentation and themes

Gigandhi are a fantastic band that mix in some Hindu influences with their industrial sludge. Quite bass-heavy music, which is awesome.

Aarni are a good doom-meets-folk band. They have numerous influences. Too many to list. They are very weird.
