Although I'm not looking for bands that play solely in major, all the time, I'm very interested in hearing more bands like Slagbjørn, Skaur and Dekadent, and am ideally looking for bands that switch from major to minor very easily and smoothly.

I'm not looking for anything remotely punky, though. No punk, pl0x.

The first link was good, although for the length of the song, it could use a little more interesting progression. The vocals weren't all that black metal, may I add, but I appreciated the cleans in the chorus.
However, I couldn't find anything major at all in that second link, aside potentially a 20 second structure change about half way through, before it went into the same old riff again. I know I mentioned it didn't all have to be major, but at this point it'd be useful, y'know? ;p

Thanks anyway, though.

I've heard Wodensthrone criticised by some for playing in Major, but I personally like it a lot - It gives it an epic, uplifting feel. They use other scales too though, unless I really do know nothing about musical theory.

I personally recommend "That Which is Now Forgotten" as their finest song.

Although I heard mostly minor throughout the song, there were a lot of chord progressions with major in there, and there were some all major sections creeping up, especially in the climax at the end.

Pedanticness aside, the song you suggested was wonderful, and ideally what I'm looking for. Cheers, man!
