I'm going to see Igor Stravinsky's "The rite of spring," in concert, tonight!

Only the necessary. You gotta try everything, you know? And inhumanist; I don't recommend eating maggots. When I say "larvae", I mean stuff akin to caterpillars and such. Watch out though, some are poisonous!

Cockroaches aren't exactly the healthiest creatures on earth. Maybe they weren't cleaned properly?

So I just now realized that Lamb of God's logo is written in Papyrus. This must be why I hate them so much despite having heard exactly one song by them.

Fuck that font and fuck everyone who would ever associate with it including that band.

@ Xlxlx

Cockroaches aren't that dirty, though. They clean themselves all the time. Maybe the guy just ate to damn much, or had an allergic reaction.. An old fashioned heart attack also could have done the trick.

Yeah, perhaps, though he got ill before dying, so I'd discard the heart attack. The allergic reaction sounds more likely.

You can also die if you eat not well cooked chicken, are you gonna stop eating chicken too? Blatant and lame generalisations!

I dunno though, if it took you an article about a guy dying from eating bugs to NOT want to eat bugs...that's pretty odd. :p

Ey, some bugs can be pretty nice.... like chocolate covered grashoppers. :nods:

EDIT

And bugs are a lot more energy efficient than a steak... though I dread the day on which we have to give up steak...

Eureka! Lamb of God are like Thai food. Potentially very enjoyable, less so but still recognizable as the same thing when it's overdone, and it has a following of people who won't shut up about it being the greatest thing ever.

Just came back from school, where we made agnolotis. Just so you know, they're kinda like dumplings, but Italian and stuffed with ham and mozzarella (or at least that's the way we prepared them). They were delicious.

Papyrus is only acceptable as an indicator of where not to take your business. Pilates studio? Yeah, I'm staying away from there. New Age gift shop? No way. Restaurant menu? Food is going to give you the shits. That font demonstrates a total lack of effort and taste on the part of the owners.

And, of course, everything described above is still applicable to Lamb of God. Comic Sans gets more hatred as a font, but at least it doesn't have any shitty bands parading it around.

They might clean themselves all the time, but they spread their feces and their foul-smelling secretions everywhere, including (especially) on food and dishes but also books and papers. They are also carriers of nasty germs and are highly allergenic. They are considered as really fucking nasty for a reason.

That anyone would choose to eat such a thing is beyond me... :puke:

Funny, since I find it very hard to encounter anything "le"-related unless you actively search for it.

Almost there. I just have to go through...23 more albums to get to it, and 11 of those are the other Threshold albums.
