Can anyone help me find a Motorhead England backpatch? Preferable one that's a rectangle and doesn't slim down towards the bottom.

I don't really recommend painting without the use of an airbrush. If you are a really good painter then just use acrylic or fabric paint, but otherwise, it's not a great idea and will look sloppy as hell.

The jean jacket I was planning to convert to a metal vest has mysteriously disappeared from my closet....

I have recently started a rough draft for my newest vest. Not really sure what back patch I want and some of these patches will be going and different ones will be added. I may or may not stud it as well.

Been lurking for a while, great thread, quite inspiring... bought a denim jacket recently and will soon be sewing on patches I've been collecting. Results will be seen here in due time...

Except that you want to 'kvlt', not cvlt. Hence heeding the advice provided above about an airbrush. haha

Hopefully the jacket I ordered will arrive this week so I can lop the sleeves off and start sewing stuff on.

Once I've got the cash I'm gonna head down to Goodwill and get a new denim vest as the one I have is too hot to wear around here. Just going to use the same patches I have though if I come up with enough I'll purchase some studs to put on it and actually put some effort into sewing this time :lol:

One good thing about Canada, we have enough cold to have to wear more than t-shirts at most times. There are only two seasons here they say: winter and roadwork.

I am but I'm not lying to myself -- of course it's hot, it's roadwork season! Nothing like being stuck in traffic in this heat.

If you're still looking, try here;

http://www.t-shirtzone.co.uk/sew-on-patches/sew-on-band-back-patches/view-all/motorhead-england-band-back-patch-.html

I don't think it tapers towards the bottom, but I may be wrong.

INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

Is it a DIY effort? I could tewtully use one, and would most definitely consider trading if you can make more... as long as our trades fit into standard letter envelopes. Too broke to mail anything bigger than that.
