I listened to your tracks from the split with Erragal (I was looking for more information about Erragal after getting their cd-r full length from Sweden). I really like what you've done, for the most part. It sounds like a demo, so I expect you could do a lot more. I really the tone and "mesopotamian" melodies you use, for example the part about 5:00 into Prelude to Time.

I'm not wild about the vocals. In fact, I think they suck! That's just my aesthetic judgement though. I see you have a full-length album, so I'm curious to hear how the production is on that.

Overall, I think you've done a very good job and are on to something worthwhile. One of the reviewers of your album on EM called you a "gimmick band." Don't worry about him - HE's a gimmick! Or gimp if you like.

Just thought I'd give you some feedback. Good work, I like it!

Haha, actually the critical view of the vocals is quite alright. Im not too fond of how those came out either, both in their rhythm and quality of sound. The full length album has a production level far more grainy than the 3 songs on the split. I shall begin recording songs here soon when I can as my job has me traveling around alot. But yes, Im in agreement with the subpar nature of the vocals. Thanx for taking the tiime to listen and post on the subject though!

And about being called a gimmick band, I lol'd at that. Thats what someone who doesnt really value the subject matter sung about calls a band. It just reveals a general ignorance about the person calling a band a gimmick band when in reality its a band who has a purpose. Now callin a band like KISS a gimmick band is legit. Hell, KISS refers to themselves as a gimmick band!
