Uh-oh... Now you did it... It's going to be there for a month more.

Have you even submitted a review before? Sometimes they stay there in submission-rejection limbo for three weeks or better. Be patient.

Only good reviews get submitted immediately. Bad ones either face rejection or mod indecisiveness. I think my very first review (which I've taken down long ago) spent a week in limbo before being accepted.

What? That's not really true at all. Sometimes if a mod sees a well-known reviewer they'll read and accept it sooner than usual just because they know the name, but just speaking personally I always start at the head of the queue and work my way through. Also I always make a decision.

Ah, well. I think I remember a mod saying something like that once, but it might've been a joke then.

I assume, though, that reviews won't just sit in limbo indefinitely? I don't mind waiting for a response so long as I know it will be accepted/rejected eventually.

No, of course not, don't be silly. Your review may take a while to be reviewed (no pun intended), but it will never just sit there indefinitely.

The best part about writing reviews is the wait. Checking everyday (sometimes even more than once!) to see if they got accepted or rejected. Hell, if I wouldn't care I'd want my reviews in the queue for all eternity!

Takes time man, don't fret about it. It is actually a nice buzz the first few times your reviews actually make it.

It's nothing to really sweat over; they'll get to it eventually. I've had reviews in the past that went up mere hours after submission, whereas my Machinae Supremacy review that went up today had been in the queue for a week and a half - it's the same result in the end if you get accepted, after all. But even if you get rejected, there's nothing stopping you from refining your review and submitting again if you feel you have something that needs said about the album in question, so no need to fret.
