What are your expectations for "Beautiful Stories For Ugly Children". Based on what I thought of "Come On" it seems like a good album. whats your opinions?

Until recently, I've only heard one Mushroomhead song and that was years ago. Something about the sun rising. Coming across some more of their work, I now wish that one song was still all I heard.

I went several, several years without ever hearing a Mushroomhead song, even during my nu metal phase a decade ago. I broke that streak a few months ago and whatever song I heard was fucking atrocious. I'm almost positive it was from the new album, but it sounded like an even duller and less interesting Slipknot. Slipknot blows, no doubt, but at least they have songs with some movement or pulse, Mushroomhead was a plodding, directionless mess.

mushroomhead plays a show at a local bar here in my hometown like twice a year and its usually free. I watch them if im around that way, was a fan of Superbuick and XX when i was eleven. All the new shit is horrendous, new singer is the worst vocalist in Music.

And curiosity nauseates the cat....

Really, I was unprepared for how bad that was going to be.

And how the hell are they industrial? I feel deceived.
