I seem to be going slightly crazy with the posting today, though it's only because I'm overtired, I assure you.

I'm looking for any Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc bands that make dark ambient music. It doesn't have to have an 'oriental feel' but it helps if it does. So far I have come up with:

Zhurong
Shinkiro
Kotodama
IHVHLXXII

Does anyone know of more?

PYHA is Korean, but sounds like the soundtrack to a Zdslaw Beksinski painting (he painted horrible hollowed-out corpselike figures in military uniform). It's not so much ambient as a bunch of recordings of creepy noises and sandpaper-like screaming, but it's the closest thing I can think of.

It's sort of gimmicky in that the artist was 12 when he recorded most of the stuff, and people here hate it, but I find it genuinely disturbing and profound
