I know there is the Doom/Stoner Thread, but as stated, this is for the "extreme" subgenres, such as Drone Doom, Funeral Doom, and Sludge Metal.

Ok, for my situation, I'm looking for the following:
1) Funeral Doom Metal similar to Consummatum Est.
2) Funeral Doom with strong Black Metal elements.
3) Sludge Metal with grindcore elements, such as Soilent Green.

Any help would be great.

I recommend Catacombs and Esoteric. Both bands are great.

I haven't listened to it in maybe 5 years or so but I remember Shape of Despair being somewhat good. I'm a DM guy and there isn't too many doom bands I enjoy but like I said, I recall them being decent.

I think Acid Witch belongs to the extremes of doom. Great death/doom.

Goatsblood is the most notable in this field but does not resemble Soilent Green.

They don't have to resemble Soilent Green as long as their sludge with grind elements. I'll go check them out.

For sludge/grind, there's also Tethuo and Watch Me Burn. I'm not overly fond of the latter, but it does seem to match what you're looking for.

I gave Acid Witch a listen and they were great. Any similar bands?

You didn't mention it but since he is extreme check out Disciples of Zoldon, it's a one man Doomgrind band. I haven't listened to him in a while so I can't remember if it was more Grind than Doom though.

Weird as fuck... It's an ok band, thanks for the input, but he's far from Doom Metal.

Acid Bath are a sludge band with some grind elements, their music varies quite a bit though. Check out their first album, 'When The Kite String Pops', the first few songs should appeal to you.

It's not a description. They're two different bands.

Really don't care for Acid Witch myself. Esoteric is great though.

I actually do like them. I was dragged to a concert of theirs by a friend (sad part is I was actually dragged). Pretty interesting band.

You might like Nortt (one of my favourites when it comes to black/funeral doom metal), Funeral Mourning and maybe Blood of the Black Owl.

Check out my project I Klatus (current/ex members of Blood of Martyrs, Couldron, Nachtmystium, Lair of the Minotaur, (Lone) Wolf & Cub, Trifog, Yakuza)...like a cross-breed of Neurosis, YOB, Acid Bath, Dystopia, Deadbird, Asunder, Crowbar, Eyehategod - mix NOLA sludge with West Coast crust.
