What are people thinking of this? I'm not really digging it as much as I thought I would when I heard about it.

It's like the exact same gimmick as Frightmare and to a lesser extent Ghoul. I'd rather listen to a Maniac Neil side project.

It's ok, but I think it's going to get old really fast. Seemed like they were trying to reform their image with some more unusual releases, and now this... :ugh:

Last Blood Freak album is the best stereotypical-Razorback album that I've heard.

The stock Razorback sound has never appealed to me.

Splatterhouse is their best band.

They're not really 'on' Razorback per se; like a lot of bands they just had a one-off release. Technically there are no bands properly signed to Razorback since they just make single-album agreements, but I'd say there are some which are more canonical to the label. But yeah, Splatterhouse is great, or at least they would be if they'd fucking release another album.

I know they're not on Razorback, but that full length was (not to mention they have that signature Razorback sound). But yes, it was a good album and I've been wanting more from then since it came out. The split wasn't that good.

This seems like a good, fun record to me. It might not have much longevity, but as I'm listening through these tracks, I can't help but to be satisfied with what I hear.

It's not that good. I much prefer the more old school death metal direction Razorback has had lately - Revolting, Acid Witch, Crypticus, and (especially) Hooded Menace were all better than this. The Claws album they will be releasing will probably be really good, too.

Hah, one of the reasons I like that is because I feel it's a good version of the Razorback sound, ala one not overdosing on goofiness.
