Not Death Metal songs but

From Enslavement to Obliteration + Unchallenged Hate
from Napalm Death

are pretty catchy grindcore songs

Edge Of Sanity used to make extremely catchy songs such as Black Tears, Hell is Where The Heart Is or Enigma, even some Bloddbath songs written by Dan Swano are very catchy and fun to listen.

Also War Is Comming By Six Feet Under (i know i'm going to get blasted)

The first song that came to mind is Eaten by Bloodbath, which has already been mentioned I believe. It seems there are fewer and fewer bands that can and will do good slow to mid-paced death metal songs like this.

This, again. Its the first that came to my mind. Has gotta be the catchiest DM song ever especially in the pre-chorus.

Bolt Thrower is very good at this as mentioned before, but one of their catchiest songs is Sanctuary, it has a very melodic vocal line in the chorus.

Also Ares kingdom has some very catchy songs.

"Override of the Overture" by Dismember has an insanely catchy-yet-also-brutal main riff. That's gotta be my favorite opening track on a death metal album.

Also, all of Malevolent Creation's The Ten Commandments is really catchy, probably because you can understand the words a lot of the time. "Remnants of Withered Decay" and "Thou Shall Kill" both have really catchy choruses.

Oh, I forgot one.

"Cancer Fucking Cancer" by Cancer. Even the song title is catchy, no? I just can't stop singing (growling) it whenever I hear the song.

The Chasm - I'm the Hateful Raven ( the whole Deathcult for Eternity: The Triumph really)

or

Bolt Thrower - ...For Victory ( The complete album). :headbang:

Together as One by Death
The whole song is catchy, but the minute that chorus riff comes in it makes me want to fuck shit right up. It's just so damn heavy and the vocals really complement it too.

Some that were mentioned that I agree with

Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face
Death - Lack of Comprehension
Edge of Sanity - Twilight

Others I'll add

Decapitated - Spheres of Madness ...... c'mon, has to be the catchiest riff in metal. May not be the best song, but catchyAF.

Behemoth - As Above So Below and Conquer All .... both riffs are extremely catchy even if the Conquer All riff has been used before.

Gojira - From the Sky ... not straight up death metal, but heavy and very catchy

Nile - Lashed to the Slave Stick ... just a monster riff .... hell the whole album is filled with them.

Vital Remains - Dechristianize .....so many catchy riffs in this ..... even if they basically do repeat the song over.

Funny... I think that's The Chasm's LEAST catchy album [other than Procreation of the Inner Temple, of course, but that's largely because of the production]

Pungent Stench - Shrunken and Mummified Bitch

Seriously, that song has the most effective tempo changes ever. Mid-paced headbang-groove, delicious fast-paced old school dm riffing, a thrashy solo, it's all there plus a growler, who's a master of his trade.

Hilarious video, too.

I love this choice. The whole album is catchy, too. Along the same lines, there's a bunch of catchiness on Disharmonic Orchestra's "Not To Be Undimensional Conscious".

I think the catchiest is all around "Feasting on the Blood of the Insane" by Six Feet Under. That song is so mind-numbingly catchy.

While Those Once Loyal is loaded with endless amounts of catchy, memorable riffs and grooves, The Killchain always remains the stand out for me. The central riff combined with the slow pounding drum beat is incredibly catchy as well as the chord progression in the chorus. Just an awesome song overall really.

Those mentioning Edge of Sanity are damn correct. Loads of catchy songs by those guys, especially the shit off of Crimson II and Purgatory Afterglow.

Bolt Thrower are also a worthy mention. Just when you want to commit yourself to genocide, well now you can do it to a soundtrack too!

Death metal kind of sucks at being catchy IMO. My vote goes to Hammer Smashed Face though, nothing quite like the rush of "fuck yeah" when the chorus riff comes in.

Just about anything from CC is damn catchy. It's like they're the pop kings of death. Of all of them "Stripped, raped, and strangled" is probably the damned catchiest. Other than CC, "Eaten" by Bloodbath. These are defnitely two of my favorite songs of any genre. Everytime the song ends I find myself restarting it over and over. There should be more mid paced death metal with clear vocals.

Yeah, pretty much. It's very dense without many normal hooks, just a lot of atmosphere.

catchy? Repulsion-Festering Boils and Pungent Stench-Dead Body Love & Pungent Stench always really moved me from the first second i heard them to this day. i imagine when i'm in my late 70's i'm going to still try to shake my wrinkled ass to those...

as for the guy who linked to the Shrunken and Mummified Bitch video
i have that whole VHS
IT RULES!!!!

My top choice is Reign Forever World by Vader. A good variety of high-quality riffs, coupled with some great drumming, and the usual Vader vocals. It's hard for me to describe adequately, but it's worth checking out if you haven't heard it before.

It's not THAT bad... it's still got that one trem-picked riff... But it is venturing dangerously close to Kannibal KoЯpse territory.

Nunslaughter - Smell the Burning Churches, Raid the Convent - they lyrics and riffs are so memorable

Death - Zombie Ritual, Crystal Mountain, 1000 Eyes - they're so infectious that you can't stop listening to those songs.

Edge of Sanity - Twilight, Black Tears, catchy, memorable vocals and riffs

Crpytopsy - "Benedictine Convulsions" That staggering speed juxtaposed with those bouncy, playful rhythms are just downright infectious. Not to mention Levasseur's tone on that album is just ridiculously badass.

Nunslaughter - "Raid the Covenant" Just fucking fun. The killer groove and the contrast of the drum-off sections are very uncanny and awesome.

D666 - "Raped" The most metal song ever, and among the most catchy too. Destructive, sardonic riffing with a very satisfying placement of hooks and alternations. Kinda hard to expatiate, but those who get it will know what I mean.

Ghoul - "As Your Casket Closes" Awesome leads with frightfully fun riffing and the whole splatter B-movie horror pretense. Very memorable articulation of passages, and just gives off that classic gorey groovy feel.

Intestine Baalism's discography is filled with catchiness but the title track off of 'Ultimate Instinct' has one of the catchiest intros ever.

No way they have heaps of catchy songs. Just off their latest album I think World Agony and Weight of Devotion are very catchy. Its one of those things I love about Immolation they're quite catchy despite the twisted/hellish kind of atmosphere they create.

Holy hell, Immolation rules, I have all their shit except for Stepping On Angels, and they are a fantastic dm band. They do have their catchy moments, though they also have moments that can lag and get a little boring.

Not at all. Unholy Cult and Shadows in the Light, in particular, have some killer hooks.

Difference between Immo's catchiness and everyone else's is that Immo's is uncanny and intelligent.
