...of someone converting a short piece of sheet music into a GP5 file for me?

I'd be willing to pay money for it.

That is too easy you can do it yourself.

Yeah I am not really seeing how you can't do that yourself. I mean they have a staff to enter the notes on.

If you have a scanner there is an app that can convert sheet music into midi. That midi can then be imported into Guitar Pro.

I dont remember the name of the app, but google probably knows!

I know it is easy for most people, but I have a novice understanding of music theory and that makes it a very complicated procedure for me when fiddling with GP. On top of that I am not good with the software to begin with... but thanks to whoever said I can import the MIDI. I'mma try that first.

edit - The MIDI file is intended to be played on piano and when transcribed for guitar it's broken down for two guitars. This is causing me difficulty.

If anyone is curious the song is "June Mermaid" from the PlayStation game Xenogears. Everyone should do themselves a favor and check it out on YouTube because it's a beautiful piece. I've learned the lead from text tabs but I have a hard time with the timing of it.

dude, that's what I did for my gr,10 guitar exam, though that's the only guitar exam I ever had, and no, I didn't fail, I did really well. lol. It's really easy. Though, it's a pain.

If you're looking from a sheet you should have no prob, most of the buttons you need are at the top left if you haven't moved then around.
