Has it really been that long since they played in Florida? As many tour stops as they've done? Wow.

Wouldn't that be the first concert you will have ever attended? I remember you posting that you haven't been to one yet.

I always said I wanted my first concert to be a Maiden one and all.

I have known so many people who popped their metal cherry to a Maiden concert. That's why they are one of the best heavy metal group of all time. :-)

i have never seen Maiden either. first concert or not, it's hard to beat. the southeast US gets its Maiden show at last. i don't know how many people were complaining they hadn't played that region in so long. but too bad i'm not in the southeast!

My boss was supposed to pony up for Maiden tickets last year as a bonus. I should have nagged him more about it.

Me and my friends are planning on driving from Georgia to go to this concert. Anyone else planning on going to this?

I'm surprised its been so long since Maiden played Florida...especially given the size of Florida compared to England :p

Having said that, they did say that they weren't going to play in the UK again for two years after the Twickenham show. :(

Is it just me or has the number of dates played in USA by Maiden, decreased with every tour since Fear of the Dark?
They haven't played anywhere near me(I live very close to Kansas City)since 2000.

It also didn't help that Sharon Osbourne discouraged them a little bit with the egg throwing and equipment sabotaging at that Ozzfest date in California.

incase anyone is wondering, this is likely what the set will be for the Florida show, considering it was the set for tonight's opening show in Belgrade, Serbia for the 4th leg of the Somewhere Back in Time tour.

Intro : Churchill Speech
1. Aces High
2. 2 Minutes To Midnight
3. Wrathchild
4. Children of the Damned
5. Phantom of the Opera
6. The Trooper
7. Wasted Years
8. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
9. Powerslave
10.Run To The Hills
11.Fear Of The Dark
12.Hallowed Be Thy Name
13.Iron Maiden
Encore
14.Number Of The Beast
15.The Evil That Men Do
16.Sanctuary

great to see Rime of the Ancient Mariner still in there, and the addition of The Evil That Men Do. it can't be beat! there's more from the first 2 albums in this leg of the tour. i wish they would give Stranger in a Strange Land or Caught Somewhere in Time a play every now and then. but if i was seeing Maiden, i wouldn't be picky.

I could definitely see going to this show with my dad or something! And Ft. Lauderdale isn't even that far away from Ga.

My sister lives near Ft. Myers so if I am visiting her over there around then, I will try to beg-borrow-steal some tickets for this.

fuck, fuck, FUCK!!!! WHY THE HELL ARE THEY STILL PLAYING SANCTUARY? There are dozens of songs that are way better tand they just keep playing it. Hell, even some of their lamest songs from the 90's are better than that piece of shit.

Thats the same setlist, but from what I remember, they didn't play Sanctuary.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner is my favorite Maiden song, and is awesome live

How, that set list has changed a LOT since I saw them. I wanted to hear The Evil That Men Do. :(
