They are terrible, the vocals are the worst I have heard in a long time. I really believe that Anders and Jonas Björler should have done a lot better post-At the Gates.

yeah, it's ironic, they are so pretentious, yet one can say that at least they don't pretend. They don't release some techno-rap-whatever album and say "on this record we tried to sound like in our old days"

Why is that a question? Are you doubting yourself or something?

Selling out?! Bullshit. They improved their sound but adding more melodic touches. They disbanded before anything remotely commercial could affect them. At the Gates is NOT Dark Tranquillity/ In Flames.

No. I am hoping to find someone who agrees with me, I'm sick of the "Fanboy versus the World" Tendancy in some metal forums. Even if i recieve no support, It will not change what I believe.

At the Gates were legendary.

 You're killing me! So, saccharine pseudo-thrashy riffs are an evolution of polyphony? This has to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard recently.

Slaughter of the Soul may not be commercial, it's still crap. It's THE inspiration for metalcore/typical swedish melodic crappy death metal. The Red in the Sky is Ours is legendary, Slaughter of the soul is not.

Congratulations on digging your own grave. This also supports my hyptohesis that the numerals in "tr00" represent the IQ of the one who uses it.

Lenin inspired Stalin, your argument is faulty.
