Just an update that Mistur have finished recording their new album and a new track from it "Skuld" can be listen to on their myspace site, so if you are a fan of Windir check it out, sounds very promising.

Fantastic, I wonder why I've not heard of this band until now.
I'll almost certainly check out this album when it's finished

Fucking FINALLY! I was wondering when Mistur would be ready! Now if Sigtyr would hurry up and release that god damn promo CD I'd be happy!

Yeah Sigtyr seem to be very slow with their releases, but if they every get round to recording a full length it should be worth the wait also.

The band feature Stian Bakketeig in their ranks, who played Windir's lead guitar, they also hail from Songdal area of Norway, so it will prob be the closest sounding thing we will get to a Windir release.

Well, i've been looking for some winder-like music, I checked Galar's album a few days back, but did not know about this band, so I will be waiting for the release.

Though, I still have doubts in general about bands that try to do music similar to Windir's. They might sound similar instrumentally to an extent, but they usually fall short when it comes to atmosphere.
