Hello to all people, i'm a little new around the forum (not in metal-archives :p), my name is Flavio, i'm from Argentina, and i'm 22

So... here's the question, i have a band, and i play drums, we play a really strange genre or at least i never heard something like this...

If you can say which genre is it...

So... when someguy ask "What genre is your band?" what can i answer? :shock:

Well, I only listened to the first track, and it sounded like heavy metal, maybe even power metal.

I kinda suspected it, listening to the first, second and third track, but then the last one came on with that scream in the beginning - followed by the rest of the track itself - it confirmed my suspicions.

I'd basically call you "Blackened Heavy Metal". While the vocals stay clean for a lot of it, the guitars flirt with black metal-ish riffs, and the blast beats the drummer is using throughout really gives you guys a black metal edge. That last song was basically Black/Heavy Metal, however - but really, you are mostly partially Black Metal, not 50/50.

cheers,

First at all, thanks for your comments guys...

Second, i make a comment: the fourth song, called "Cancer" it's a cover from a local band called "Flema", they are a punk rock band, this band no longer exists, but we adapted his song into a more grindcore version, and i think the song it's most grindcore than black, tell me if i'm wrong or not :???:

Who are you most influenced by? Just go from there. I mean all that really matters in the end is that you are metal!

it doesnt fit into any clean cut genre for sure...
I would say;
Heavy power-prog

best way I can sum it up.
